Not sure it was best overall campus atmosphere but Va Tech 2007 comes to mind. I was walking up to campus at the Highland/Dalrymple intersection. There was a group of Va Tech fans crossing over headed towards the parade grounds. You could tell they were just getting on campus as well. They really didn't say much, just looked around taking in the scene. Then one guy looked over to another guy and sang "Heaven.....I'm in Heaven". The other guy just smiled and said "unbelievable".
Every time I walk on campus for a game day I think about those guys and try to appreciate how extraordinary our ordinary is.

2007 UF game was a crazy day on campus. 2012 Bama was insane as well. Both being legit night games really helped. Those are my two standouts
I brought my trumpet to Rotolos that night. The place was packed and rockin! And I didnt pay for a single drink all night.

2007 Florida
2012 Bama
2018 Georgia
2009 Florida (i believe this was the year there was a rugby game on the parade grounds between us and UF)
In that order.

2011 Arkansas was a hoot for me. One of my favorites. So was 2007 Arkansas until the actual game.

Was coming to say this.
We tailgate at the corner of Skip Bertman and Nicholson Dr and it’s usually pretty lively. That day there felt like a rumbling roar throughout the entire campus all day long.
When they announced the USC/stanford score while on a tv timeout it was one of the loudest moments I’ve been in that stadium, including the earthquake gheeeeem.

2006 the grad students of the marine biology and Sociology near the coastal studies quad. All you could eat and drink $20 and many kegs in the lab freezers plus fresh shrimp and seafood each home game

07 Florida, was that when brooks and Dunn played on the parade grounds? I remember a kid on his mom’s shoulders during game day doing the gator chomp while lsu fans yelled tiger bait in unison. That kid was smiling from ear to ear.

07 Florida
Pretty sure our tailgate floated over 50 kegs that day. A buddy of ours was wearing referee garb, throwing penalty flags at every Florida fan walking by that had jorts on. Many flags were thrown.
That day has always stood out for me.
