Mulkey doesn't even have her players here yet,

Sure she does, and that is even more impressive in year two. The only player on the team that was here prior to Mulkey is Emily Ward. Even more impressive is that only 3 players on the team have been there for more than 1 season. Ward, Amani Bartlett, and Alexis Morris.

Now you can make the case that she hasn't had any returning starters (with the notable exception of Morris) but that is a different story.

Add Pat Henry to complete your Mt Rushmore.

Hopefully Jay Johnson replaces Henry in a few short years.

LSU athletics is certainly in good hands now. We’re competing at very high levels across the board.

And no, I’m not ready to throw in the towel on McMahon. I think he was hired to save a sinking ship and it was taking on water much faster than anyone knew.

Our basketball team was certainly the Titanic this year

But not best hire.

Still I dont Think anything comparable to this has happened before. Maybe Urban Meyer getting hired at Ohio State but they didn’t pull him from Florida.

This is the equivalent of hiring Jay Wright from Villanova.

Further, Saban beat LSU for the natty in 2011, so he actually directly prevented LSU from winning one. That negates the natty that he did win at LSU in '03...net gain of zero trophies.

Mulkey and Baylor beat LSU in the final four in 2005. By that logic does she need to win two before you actually credit her with winning a championship for LSU.

I remember going to baseball games in the early 80’s and there barely being any fans there I think the record crowd was in the 100s when the San Diego chicken made a visit. I remember running out of the stadium to get a fail ball that went over the back of the stadium and having to give the ball back.

Skip took nothin and made a dynasty. And the effects of that dynasty are still here as the fan base still helps the keep the highest attendance I. The nation.

If you’ve been to a game at Swayze over the past decade, you’d have the following message burned into your memory cells:

“You catch it, you keep it. Foul balls brought to you by Oxford University Bank!”

Luring Mulkey from Baylor

Negative. Mulkey wanted the LSU job. No luring necessary. As great as Woodward believes he is, it was time for Mulkey to depart Baylor and this was the place she wanted to be.

Skip took a while to get going, but he has the most dominant dynasty.

What are you talking about? He took over a terrible program and got to Ohama rather quickly. Skip's turnaround was actually quick. Now he might not have won the Championship as soon as he would have liked considering he had Ben McDonald but he took us to Ohama fairly quickly.

Petrochemicals. Should change the nickname for the region to “Champions Alley.”

You always go back to the money. The money says Saban every time. Skips overall impact is much greater but it's baseball. Football is the money. Saban awakened the money. Les is #2. For all his faults he kept the money awake by just being himself. An incredibly nice, personable guy that knew how to keep the train rolling just enough by being able to recruit

Miles has to be up there with the best. Only coach of a major sport to leads LSU to multiple championship games, besides Skip of course.

Just based on win percentage alone, Miles ranks among the best in the SEC of all time.

His regular season non-conference win streak might be the best ever. Only one loss to Whisky in Green Bay.

Top 5 coaching hire, for LSU.

Based on early results, you have to put BK in there.

And don't forget about Larry Sciacchetano in Wresting. (Coack Shack) He turned LSU into a national wrestling power from 1976-85. (The SEC really needs to implement Wrestling as a Conference sport)

Hey, that was awesome seeing the Pleiadians from Iowa take down Racist Dawn and SC.

How about a close game all the way, with "The Fighting Mulkeys" hitting a shot at the buzzer to win!

I told CKM she should come to LSU when we were talking in between innings at an LSU baseball game when she was her watching Kramer play. It’s probably that seed I planted was what started this.
