I knew it was possible but was unsure how we would handle this tough schedule.

After the Bama game? No. At this point? 50/50.

To be 100% honest, I thought we would be a 4 lose team.

There were a lot of unanswered questions and we had the two teams that played in last year's national championship on our schedule and one team that was 1 win away from making the playoffs (I didn't expect Auburn to be as good as last year just because they no longer had Kerryon Johnson, but I thought going to Auburn was going to be tough).

So I thought we would lose to Auburn, UGA , Bama and would drop one to either Miami or Mississippi St, thinking it would more than likely be Miami.

And the reason I thought we would lose to Miami wasn't because I thought Miami was THAT good. I thought Miami was a bit overrated. They lost their last 4 games last year and Rosier wasn't a QB that set the world on fire.

I just thought that it would take this team a few games to sync up. With Joe Burrow only having fall practice to work with the team, questions with our running game, I just thought we would have our troubles moving the ball down field.

If anyone says they did thing we would be in the top 4 when the CFB playoffs ranking came out is either that much of a homer or just naive.

No way. I predicted 5 losses. I am so happy that I was incredibly wrong! Amazing job by CEO and staff this season. The most fun LSU football has been in a while.

I don't think you can find one LSU fan across the planet who thought LSU would be this good this year.

Nope, I’m always positive but this has been unbelievable. In 2003 I never thought that the tigers would be on top of the college world- I’m so damn happy

I had 10 and 2 with losses to Auburn and bama. I didn't really think about ranking but of course they would be pretty high navigating this schedule.

Yes. 10 and 2. Or 11 and 1. After we got Burrow. I am from Columbus originally. The Ohio StAte people were very high on him.

I told my son tonight...after watching the loss at Miss St last season I really thought it will be many years before we are in contention again.
No way did I think the next season!

Picked them to win it all with an 11 beer bet with my brother who said I was nuts. I’m still in the running for 11 beers of my choosing. If I win, those 11 beers will come from 11 different countries.

I didn’t think they’d crack the top 15. But I’m loving it.

I said 8-4, but thinking back.. I also thought Mississippi State would be better than us. I thought they would have a defense that was almost as good as ours and would be better on offense.. So I guess I thought they would finish 8-4.. with a good chance of going 7-5..

Who cares what I think? I sit home, drunk beer, watch football, and yell at people making way more $ than me over what decisions they are making. Glad we are 7-1, but predictions and preseason polls are just for fun. Every team every year is different?
