Didn’t think they’d even be top 4 in SEC West

I honestly felt that we were a top 10 with Burrow.

I was praying for an ny6 bowl, which seems like the floor now.

No but when Joe showed I started to believe. I knew the defense would be good. Just the offense didn't look good until Joe showed up.

I predicted 11 and 1 or 10 and 2. I never thought they would be number 3

Yes, I did., largely because I thought the defense would be top 5 nationally and the qb position would be an upgrade from Etling and more balanced and cohesive than it was under Canada.

I can honestly say I didn’t know what to expect going into the season. It was refreshing and scary at the same time....

I thought it could be top 10 with Burrow, but I never thought we'd run the ball well enough for top 5. Brossette has been a nice surprise.

Nope. I figured 11-15, but NEXT SEASON would be our year.

Not in my most unbridled fantasies.

Here's to it lasting until Dec 2.

I didn’t but I think most of us didn’t think we’d be this good because of the schedule. We knew that our schedule was brutal and with the LSU offense we have been accustomed to the last 8 years, it was hard to think we’d be able to have the offense to go 7-1 heading into the Bama game with this schedule. We always knew the potential was there but it’s hard to believe in something when it fails time and time again.

Regardless of what happens this Saturday, this has been one of the best LSU teams to watch in a long long time. They have balls of steel and they are out to prove everyone wrong. Because of that, I truly believe LSU will leave it all out on the field this Saturday and I really think they have a great chance to get the win on Saturday. I’ll be screaming my arse off inside that stadium hoping to give Alabama a glimpse of what hell is like! GEAUX TIGERS!!!! ITS TIME!!!!

Think how big the FLA loss is now...Could have been 2 SEC teams in the playoffs. still great that LSU is in the top 4, I did not expect to see them ranked this high during the pre season.

If LSU beats Bama on Saturday, I think losing that Florida game could end up being a huge blessing that was in disguise. That loss to Florida made this team come out and fight like hell the next 2 games against good teams. We have been punched in the face time after time this year and this team continues to get up and keep fighting. This team is a special one

No, but I knew this team had talent coming into the season.

Ed O and the coaching staff has done a great job.

Yes. Predicted 11-2 with win over Bama as floor, 12-1 in CFP as ceiling. Not surprised by progress thus far, including top 4 ranking. Key difference is leadership and team chemistry.

We ridin!

Said from day one that this is a 10-2 (possibly 11-1) talent team.

It does surprise me though how well this coaching staff has done. Orgeron has definitely impressed me this season so far and Ensmingers offense, while not pretty at times, has gotten the job done.

I still can’t wrap my head around how we lost to Florida. I get that they are a decent team, but we are better than them this year.
