Nope, the preseason polls are usually completely wrong

Thats why you play a season

I thought we were staring 6-6 in the face. And I bumped it up to 8-4 when we signed Burrow.

Coach O has done an great job addressing the needs of this team with transfers, and the position coaches have done awesome managing for injuries and gameplanning opponents.

I expected an 8 or 9 win team, and was afraid of worse based on media predictions.

The media has no respect for O. That's the sole basis for the preseason expectations, and for continuing garbage from folks like Joey Galloway.

Considering the D has been good, but not dominant I am surprised how well we are doing

It's hasn't been elite, but we're causing more turnovers now...which makes up the difference

looked at Miami, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and State thinking our best case was 2 losses going into Bama and that the worst case was -- we're 4-4 with us in full blown melt down, clean house mode. I'll give Coach O credit, at this point, for the transfers he's signed, the analysts and assistant coaching moves he's made... and he's been aggressive. It's all worked out so far.

So 9-3 was my best guess

we could still end up 9-3 or 8-4. Just sayin.
