Anyone else watch it? We have some shooters and some size. The defense wasn’t great but first scrimmage with everyone. Hopefully that will get better.

Based off this one game it will be the best shooting team Wade has had at LSU.

Florida State is a good team and you went toe to toe with them on the road. This team should be competitive against everyone they play.

Very athletic group with offensive skills. Terrible rebounding on both ends in that game, but not surprising for a team that just added several top players.

Guess Dessert will ramp up from the 15 min he played?

Dent looks like the real deal. He also has instant chemistry with Clark based on last season at UCLA.

Team never gave up, fought back from 12+ pt 2H deficit with a possession to win it at the end.

This was a great experience that will pay dividends later in the year.

I like that we have a 3 game ramp up before our 1st test (@Gonzaga) on 11/14

Really excited. Completely shocked by the group guard play. Don’t believe any are all sec caliber but as a group with the tools around them they are sufficient to be very competitive. Ruzic is 1-2 years and gone to the league. Mo, niang, dessert need some time to figure things out. Would like to see bender get all the cleanup time. Defensively I’m a little worried but offense we’re middle of the sec imo. I don’t see niang being removed from top of key defender, however the lineup is far from being set as far as starters and off the bench.

We stay healthy and continue to make extra passes we can win 8-10 sec games.

You had a team playing its first competitive action together on the road versus a team that's been practicing together and lathered up.

They will have three games to gel before having to go play Gonzaga on the road.

And it was their first game together. I know they've been practicing together, but playing games together with so many new pieces is different and takes a little time to gel.

Team has the potential to be a sweet 16 team. If you make it there, you never know what can happen.

which players can create their own shot, or shots for others? Who will space the floor besides Bashir?

- too many turnovers
- didn’t force turnovers
- got doubled up on the offensive glass
- couldn’t make FTs
- rotation needs tweaking

Still had a chance to win it but Dent made a handful of uncharacteristically bad plays down the stretch.

I wouldn’t read too much into scrimmage outcomes.

We have more talent since WW was previously here, it’ll be interesting to see how WW crafts the roster.

Dent can get buckets he's got a few moves, more than I originally thought.

Clark also was better than j thought he would be at running the offense, he had 3-4 assist.

Neither are Javonte smart level of give him the ball and let him cook the defender. But they are capable.

We only have 2 shooters though

I thought our guys had been practicing together too? Wasn't that the word coming out, that the players had been practicing, just didn't play in the exibitions?

Same as the FB team this season ,new players coaches need time to gel. This will be the most exciting BB season since WW left.

So you don’t know the difference between practice and a game?

Just make sure you don't run and hide like the little bitch you are when Wade has a great 15-20 year run here in BR.

Don't be a stranger, ya hear???

This is the exact quote:

The statement was that we were facing a team that's been practicing together.

Again, I thought all of our guys had been practicing together, and that some hadn't been played in the exhibitions.
