What is your obsession with Nippolt.
Good at 3rd. Offers very little at the plate.

Next, y’all and Jones. He hasn’t even faced elite pitching yet and he’s striking out 50% of the time or more. Y’all are ignorant to baseball. Roll with the hot hand!

Beloso at DH
White at 3rd
Morgan at 1st
Jobert in LF (as of now)
Kling in RF (he’s starting to make good contact)

I think he offers value to the team.

What value? Defensively? Offensively? I’m not sure I see enough justification for him to be on all three of your lineup cards. In fact, I don’t see where Jobert needs to be in any of those as well. I’d rather a lighter hitting Pearson that will give me productive ab’s than Jobert, who is feast or famine.

I think his glove needs to be in the field.

I get it, we have people in this thread that are posting lineups that have Beloso, Jobert and Jones in them, because everyone loves the long ball (even though Jobert and Jones' feast or famine approach won't play throughout a full SEC slate), but defense matters.

Also, Nippolt historically draws a lot of walks and doesn't K. That's important for a 9 hole guy. He's not Hal Hughes or Alex Milazzo in the lineup.

Also, if Pearson gets his head out of his arse, I'd be perfectly fine with him going to LF with Dugas at 2B and White at 3B. But if White can't play 3B, I sure as shite want Nippolt at 3B over Jobert.

First, Tommy will be back at 3rd shortly.

Second, Jobert is batting .300 with 3 HR’s and 8 RBI’s.

Nippolt - .130 enough said there

Jobert can't hit good pitching, strikes out and doesn't draw walks. Nippolt can't hit good pitching, but he puts the ball in play and draws walks.

Jobert is perfectly fine as a DH option against RHP, but his glove doesn't belong in the field. Nippolt's does.

Nice try though.

.265 after today, and pretty all the production came in one game, very much the jobert way.

Jobert can play a good LF all day long and offer much more at the plate.

Nice try though

Decent bench bat and platoon DH option. He shouldn't be in the field though unless injuries to others call for it.

. Can he?

I’d rather Nippolt’s glove at third and bat in the 9 hole than Jobert in the field if White can’t go (at third).

I prefer Jobert. But honestly I wish Pearson would come around also and play like he did last year

But why?

So far, your two reasons have been "He's hitting .300 and he can play a good LF", both have been shown to be false. Not just through the first 3 weeks of this season, but all of last season too.

Jobert in the 2 games he’s hit a HR:

5-7
5 R
3HR
8RBI
3 BB
0 K

Other 8 games he’s taken an AB in:

4-23 (.173)

2 R
0 HR
0 Rbi
2 BB
9 K

Its to the point where they could start jobert, see how his first AB goes and then pull him if he K’s

I like Morgan in the outfield. He's much better suited to showcase his defensive skills out there. He's a waste at 1st.

He’s, literally, a defensive All-American at 1st base.

This is your best hitting lineup. The only thing that would make it better is Dugas hitting 5 hole, IMO.
