Fastball down the middle of the plate on 3-2 count fooled him

I feel bad for coach. It seems like once he makes one bad decision, he immediately starts over coaching in an attempt to rectify his past mistake. And I swear I've never seen a coach who's decisions don't work out more than him.

Broussard, he dared you to hit it out and you watched it. Embarrassing.

To those who are downvoting what I said, is it not a fact that Hess' slider has been dominant, and no one has laid off or hit it? And therefore, you don't just try to blow a fastball by the guy on 0-2?

Is it also not a fact that his fastball command is terrible? Some of you are so blinded by sunshine, that you refuse to acknowledge a simple known fact. i'm criticizing the pitch call, because it was absolutely the wrong call, no matter the outcome.

if you are incapable of accepting a little bit of common sense, because you are offended by critical thought, then you don't belong in a baseball conversation. Go apply to be a cheerleader.

Another terrible 0-2 pitch. Where's the slider in the dirt?

Hess has pitched well.

No he hasn’t. He pitched like crap. 2 runs in 2.1 innings?

Let us know when you can hit home plate with a lob throw, much less 97mph exactly where you want it. Call was likely high heat, probably missed the spot by less than a foot. It's much harder than you think couch coach...

Paul was trying to compensate for not advancing the runner the inning before.

Dont let it get to you. When it comes to baseball on the rant the more downvotes you get the more right you tend to be

These hits off 0-2 make no sense. Waste a pitch and hope he swings.

yep. He compounded his first mistake.

Much better 0-2 pitch this time. No where near the plate.
