It cleared the top and hit a metal flange attached to the top just behind the stripe. Guy couldn't hit that spot again in his lifetime. HR it is.

Just seems lately that opposition pitching seems all world, and we haven't seen Vandy or UF yet. Not to mention the Tiger bullpen is atrocious.

Oh, how I wish it could be Manieri's swan song.
Can the Rant coordinate with the TAF to raise funds to pay off the final year of Manieri's contract? Something like that would be the only possible way to get rid of him.

Depends on the ground rules of the stadium. Sometimes the yellow line is a HR sometimes it’s in play.

I agree. I was answering the post that said, “The more obvious the call the less likely to overrule.” I don’t think this call fits that narrative. This was an extremely close call.
