This thread and this statement are completely ridiculous. Kiffin had a hand in the scheme of defense against Ole Miss. He stated that much in the halftime interview. We came out the second half much more aggressive, and it showed as we shut them out until their last possession. Baker is a phenomenal DC and how soon you all forget what we had before he got here.
Our offense was also completely stagnant in the first half. Had we sustained ANY drives, there’s at least one less TD for ole Miss.

Defense was awful in the 1st half
- gave up 289 yards of offense
- gave up 7 of 9 on 3rd down to a team that was converting 35% coming in
- forced 1 punt
- gave up a 75 yard drive in under 1:50 to end the half after we cut the score to 10
- gave up a 20 yard score on 3rd and 12
- gave up 4 straight scoring drives
How is any of that good?

People keep saying Baker can’t stop a running QB. Go look at the stats from Saturday’s game. Chambliss didn’t beat us with his feet, but with his arm.
And yes, I know he scored a running TD, but I think he only and about 30 yards rushing Saturday
