No doubt. I 100% agree but those will be the excuses why O doesn't pull the trigger.

What a shame and a shite show this is. When Saban hires his coordinators, they graciously exit for a HC gig at a Div 1 school. Yet here we are fundraising to buyout Pellini just 3 games into the season.

LSU owes him over 2 million/year on a 3 year contract. Gave him a 10 X salary increase from his old job

You can't be this dense... you just can't... What part of "he has lost the players" do you not get? It's way beyond him being incompetent. The players are openly calling him out, too.

Do we have a Landry or Prude to get through to him like back in 2005?

They should Insist that the HC kick in something. It was his hire.

I have even heard that O has mentioned to multiple people privately that Pelini Ma

Then it’s the second fricking time he’s done this, he’s the one making the hire. And now it’s going to cost millions to correct it...again

Sorry when you’re the “ceO” you don’t get to just throw up your hands and say well this just isn’t a fit.

Move him to analyst or admin....promote another DC on staff to run the D the rest of year

Or if they can swing the buyout just let him go and move on...he’ll get some crappy mid major HC job which will mitigate the buyout somewhat anyway

no. i am simply saying he had great D at OU, lsu and a few at NU. he did not forget how to coach. if it does not work out this go around oh well. players are not executing on either side of ball. Offensive scheme is fine yet people are melting. we just are not getting execution we did last year. it does not appear the D players can grasp the D or execute it.

Can't wait for O to appoint himself DC like he did at Ole Miss and then make his next brilliant hire. Maybe Pete Carroll will give him good advice this time.

What a fricking fairytale. He sucked here the first time and at Nebraska. Only the blind O-fellating fools here refused to acknowledge that when he was hired

I don’t think he forgot how to coach, I just think football is A LOT different in 2020 than it was in 2010 and before when he led good defenses. The game has changed significantly, and maybe Bo hasn’t changed with it.

and herein lies the issue many of us espoused before O was hired. if shite does go bad you prefer a HC who can coach one side of the ball. we do not have that. Look O has done great and beat the odds. not mad at him at all just saying.
