When Cags got pulled was the first moment. Some UF pumper heads on some pregame show talked about the relievers being good but many here had stated they weren’t that great and that held true.

I was still nervous at 10 run lead tbh.

In the 8th, I finally started to relax, esp when we got those insurance runs in the 8th and 9th.

I said in a group text that Jobert had to be sent to 2nd by the 1st base coach when Thompson got that hit, b/c he was still standing there with his mouth wide open in shock

I didn’t notice that. It was my favorite moment of the game. The crowd behind him chanting his name on a 0-2 count, and he cracks one to the left side to finally have production. It was like the missing link was finally found to complete the chain, and we had Gorilla Ball. It was a spark. I’m pretty sure everyone had a hit. Including Travinski after Milazzo got hurt.

O’Sullivan said after the game that not being able to go deep with their starters hurt. Even when we got blown out on Sunday, they had to pull their starter after, what, 3 innings? Dugas’s long at bat really hurt them. They had to play guys they were trying to save.

For me, it was when we started hitting their second relief pitcher. Since we had already chased their starter and their best relief pitcher and were scoring runs on their second reliever, I figured they were out of effective pitchers.

I had my fan discipline dialed in last night: after having to miss watching Sunday’s debacle (sorry, my fault on that…) I sat in same spot on couch, put my Hawaiian LSU shirt I wore it for the game 1 victory over UF back on but, more importantly, I squeegeed out ALL memories of Miss State coming back from 9 down to beat us 14-13 earlier this year. So, at 11-2 I was not relaxed, exactly, but 14-3 I started breathing normally.

When old boy broke out of his slump to put the first run across. I knew at that moment it was on. Didn't think we would put up 18. Was thinking more 8-10 lol

Josh Pearson's homerun to go up 9-2 was when I got a little emotional. No one was beating us after that. + knowing we had Paul Skenes if things got someone close. Great moment in the game.

When I saw 6-9 hitters actually having competitive at bats and getting on base. Especially Jobert.

When we went down 0-2, 2 batters into the bottom half of the first.
