One defense I can see where we match up obviously but on offense it really isn't close.

They just have shown so much more balance and have destroyed everyone they play while we struggle every week.

I just cannot talk myself into getting my hopes up.

It's a legitimate question. I wish i was an eternal optimist but we didn't score a TD in 8 quarter's last year and this team is worse.

They only scored ONE TD in 8 quarters and that TD didn't come in TS at NIGHT!

Same could have been said in 2008 or even 2009. Defense will keep LSU in it. Les Miles teams seldom blow (SEC) teams out (2011 is looking more and more like the exception to the rule. This season looks a lot like 2007, 2009, 2010) Conversely, LSU under Les Mile rarely gets blown out. No reason this game can't be like 2010. Strong defensive effort, with just enough big plays to win.

If they lose to Moo, they'll be mad as hornets at our game a week later.

And USCe should have skulldrug UF after losing to LSU. It doesn't always work out that way.

This question could have been asked before every single regular season LSU/Bama game since 2008. Every game was tightly contested, and could have gone either way.

GTFO, with your chicken little attitude.

Do you remember us last year? We ripped everyone to shreds before our showdown with Bama. We were crushing everyone - Florida, Oregon, WVU it didn't matter. But we went there and threw a couple interceptions early in a hostile environment and the game became a 9-6 battle with no touchdowns.

Point is...dont get lulled into thinking just because they destroyed everyone so far, they are just going to come in here and walk all over LSU. We have struggled to beat the likes of some VERY good football teams lately. We made incredible adjustments and shut the stupid johnny football shite up real quick like. We embarrassed Washington who was supposed to have such a high powered offense.

Bama's offensive scheme is one that we tend to normally do very well against. Without Richardson, they don't have as good of a running attack as a year ago and more attention can be devoted to that bloody twat under center. Our defense is going to make him want to go home and cry on his mom's tits.

This will be a dog fight of a close game.

At lesat it shouldn't be another 4 hour long game. With two run heavy teams the clock should move fast.

Because every day I used to race my bike against Kevin O'Shea down Cherry Hill and one time. One. Time. Er, actually like 3 out of the last 6 times, I beat Kevin O'Shea down Cherry Hill.

And Les and Company have two weeks to prepare, while little satan has to focus on MSU this week.

We play them 10 times, they win 9. But not this night. This is our time.

...AND look at who Bama has played so far. NO quality opponents. Michigan doesn't count, they were overranked then and are currently accurately unranked.

Remember Boise State? They used to look great on paper (playing the likes of Idaho every year) and then folded like a house of cards against real competition.
Wow, just failure everywhere..

What part of the game are we superior to them?

From real hard evidence of the games that I have watched of theirs....I would say we match up favorably on the OL and DL. Also, if I had any confidence in our recievers to catch the balls that get to them I would like several matchups there but catching the ball is pretty important.

Now if you listen to the talking heads and the idiots in Alabama they are as good on the LOS as they were last year. I can tell you right now that is a joke.
