Just looking up and down the list of the top 10 teams I think we have as good a chance as any of them to be playing in Miami. Just as good a chance as Alabama or Florida or any of them has. If you read the Alabama boards they've just sort of dismissed us and everyone else as competition. They're actually disdainful. A very dangerous attitude for them.

Les and his company had a whole month to prepare for the NCG, and we all saw what happened.
Point is...having more time to prepare does not necessarily grant us any advantages over Bama if Les and his staff don't get their minds right and move toward a wrong direction.

Yeah Les had a month for the NC, but so did Saban, actually Saban had longer due to his team not having to play a conference championship game. Plus Saban was adjusting, because his team lost the first meeting. Miles didn't adjust.

This time it's the first meeting this year, and Miles has 2 weeks to prepare, Saban has 1.

I like our chances. It's not as if Saban has dominated this matchup vs Miles. I don't see why people are so scared of Bama. They could win, sure, but they could've won last year in Tuscaloosa, and didn't. They could've won in 2010. They didn't.

We get 60 minutes to play them, there's no reason we can't outplay them for 60 minutes. If we have to play them twice in a year then I give Saban the advantage in any rematch.

Hopefully Miles learns to adjust from last year's loss. If he does, then we have a shot. If not, then even Death Valley can't help us.

We weren't expected to beat them in 2010 but we did. In 2008 and 2009 we weren't nearly as talented as they were and still took them to the wire. Yeah... I like our chances in two weekends. No one expected us to beat South Carolina two weeks ago. This place has developed rantard for a reason. Most reactionary board ever.

You can ask the same going back to 2008.

Lost to #1 Bama in OT in 08
Lost to #2 Bama 24-16 in bds after having pp7, Scott and jj all injured. We were up in the 4th in 2009
Beat top 5 Bama 24-21 in ts in 2010
Beat #2 Bama in bds 9-6 in 2011

Think we can all say we were underdogs in all 4 games and we won 2

We have a good chance to win this one

Bama aint been punched in the mouth yet, what happens when they are? They may crumble like a house of cards after Eddie Fuller's catch against Auburn.

These Tigers been tested already.

In 2002, Miami (Ohio) coach Terry Hoeppner said of Tiger Stadium, "That's as exciting an environment as you can have ... we had communication problems we haven't had at Michigan and Ohio State."[8] In 2003, ESPN's Chris Fowler called LSU his favorite game day experience.[8] In 2009 former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee stated on Sean Hannity's Fox News show that "Unfair is playing LSU on a Saturday night in Baton Rouge."

Survey after survey has concluded that Tiger Stadium is the most difficult place for a visiting team to play, including surveys by the College Football Association in 1987, The Sporting News in 1989, Gannett News Service in 1995, and Sport Magazine in 1998.[8] More recently, in 2007, ESPN named Tiger Stadium "the scariest place to play," saying that "Tiger Stadium is, by far, the loudest stadium in the country."[9]

In 2009, ESPN writer Chris Low listed Tiger Stadium's Saturday night atmosphere as unsurpassed in the country, ranking it No. 1 out of the conference's 12 stadiums.[10]
