At this point, how can you feel confident vs. Bama?

What part of the game are we superior to them?

Honesty, I cannot think of one besides kicker obviously.

We just have to be superior that night, and our defense is more than capable of being superior to anyone in the country on any given night.

Bama is the superior team but the game is being played in death valley. Anyone's game.

It's a legitimate question. I wish i was an eternal optimist but we didn't score a TD in 8 quarter's last year and this team is worse.

Because we have an elite defense and we are at home. At night.

Well, after seeing threads like these I am 100% confident we win.

more chicken little morons in the fanbase + home game/(passing game ranking+scoring defense) = two touchdown.....

1. We are not worse than last year on offense.
2. Bama is simply not as good on defense as they were a year ago. They lost 9 starters on defense. Yes they are elite, but they are not as nasty as that group was last year.
3. We have a defense that can allow us to win games without scoring a TD.

This. I may actually bring earplugs to this game. Tiger Stadium will be completely unhinged!

...AND look at who Bama has played so far. NO quality opponents. Michigan doesn't count, they were overranked then and are currently accurately unranked.

Remember Boise State? They used to look great on paper (playing the likes of Idaho every year) and then folded like a house of cards against real competition. Granted, Bama is not a Boise, but Bama hasn't yet been tested this season. Unfortunately, Moo State will be their first real test, and it may be a wake-up call for them, or worse, a loss for Bama. If they lose to Moo, they'll be mad as hornets at our game a week later.

On any given day in college football any team can win against any other team. Fact. So you've got to know that LSU has a great shot at a victory against Bama, if our team takes care of business.
