I would bet there’s more to the story here than just interviewing for another job.

If dude is transparent w/his employer (ASU) about his interview w/LSU, F ASU!

If dude is interviewing on the down low, should be red flag to ASU and LSU.

That’s the only thing I can think of. I can kind of understand it if he did it the wrong way but if he was upfront and honest with his employer then that’s really shitty of ASU.

Dumb to fire someone for going on an interview.

Would you tell your boss you’re interviewing for other jobs??

Most jobs aren’t really comparable to being a baseball coach

Super duper tacky of them. Its the nature of being a coach. Kind of extreme to fire.

When does Rooney or Kendall ever say anything negative about a coach. . . just sayin. These guys are basically a PR firm for college baseball coaches.

If that’s the case ASU should feel stupid af

What if he and the head coach had an agreement that he would stay for a given amount of time? I’d also fire him for interviewing if that were the case.

Or what if he was using the LSU interview to ask for more money. What if he gave them an ultimatum? Again, I’d fire him too.

Huh? He has a contract, but when better jobs come up, these things happen.
