Yes, people are that Stupid! Remember these are the same people that Bitched and complained after we came back being down 17-0 on the road in the SEC to win!!!

JD was terrible in the Arkansas game I agree. I just think y’all are crazy to want to bench a player who has 27TDs and maybe 5-6 turnovers on the year. Likely to add to that on Monday.
The entire team needed to improve. O-line stepped up huge down the stretch but that line was musical chairs the first 5 weeks. The WRs, who were touted for being an elite unit, were extremely underwhelming. (Nb4 “he didn’t hit them in stride”. They were not good. Hankton needs to be dialed in this off season because they dropped several easy passes.
A big argument is that JD takes a lot of sacks, which he does. He tried to run out of situations he can’t get out of. Several sacks were our line getting abused, though. Tennessee 4th and 10 is one example.
He’s starting next year and I expect 24+ passing TDs, 6+ running TDs and under 7 INTs.
Y’all can say what y’all want about if JD ruined Boutte or whatever. The dude looked terrible all season long. It is what it is.
And if you want 35-40 passing TDs you’re gonna be upset no matter who the QB is lmao.

The day Daniels announced his return, Boutte commented “Run it back Turbo!” So he definitely seemed really upset.

Boutte was on academic probation. The semester ended after the SEC Championship game.
More than likely he decided to just get paid instead of having to deal with getting his grades back up.

Unless there's some other unknown reason like a suspension, the most likely explanation is he planned to return on some advice that he could have a big season and increase his draft position (also some NIL incentive). After further thought he decided he could up his stock at the combine and either way start making big money a year earlier so he ended up declaring.
However, in this case I don't see that for Boutte and think it's a bad move. Going pro after the year he had shows poor judgement and definitely wasn't a decision made bc of a QB.
Maybe some of you forget, but Boutte almost transferred after last year. He clearly didn't want to be here anymore. You can probably thank Gordon he was even on the team this year bc it was said he was looking elsewhere for more money until a better NIL deal was put together for him.

What in my OP doesn't correlate with your post? Ultimately it looks like in both cases Boutte made a "business decision". I didn't say either one was a GOOD decision.
