who are these people? Trusting the coach to play the best QB doesn't mean you aren't a fan of another QB. I am a LSU supporter, but I can guarantee you Daniels didn't come back to ride the bench, he will be your day one starter.

LSU will need a second qb ready to play significant time next year, Daniels was fortunate to make the whole season without an injury.

Daniels no matter what. Howard and Nussmeier should not even be allowed to wear uniforms.

I don't know anybody that is all in on Daniels, but I do think having a Senior 4 year starting QB leading the team is a good thing.
Hell, everyday at LSU practice better be a competition if BK wants to get to his goal and win a natty. National Championship teams aren't scared of competition.
Will he be the starter? Likely.
Will BK put the qb that is most likely to win on the field? I think so.
Will a qb transferring out ruin LSU football? Unlikely, LSU has never recruited qb better and the lineup of incoming QB's is impressive.
Will there be a qb competition? I think so.

Haven’t seen many if any of those.
I have seen people support the coach who chose him to win the west in a rebuilding year and not knock a guy who beat bama Florida ole miss and auburn in the same season threw for over 200 yards in one half against the number 1 defense while injured.

Daniels is an auto start in the coaches eyes. Doesn’t really matter what fans think. He isn’t coming back to compete

Why wouldn't anyone be? I would hope everyone wants the guy on the field who gives you the best chance to win right now. If that's Howard so be it. If Howard comes in and takes that job over JD then everyone should be excited. Doubtful but you never know.

Exactly. Daniels will start next year, but the backups need to be pushing him every day in practice to make him work harder. That’s my expectation at least.

I doubt JD passed up the draft to wait and see if he could beat out WH for starting QB. There won’t be a true competition.

WE WILL HAVE TO GO TO A TWO QB. SYSTEM IF NOT LSU WILL NOT GET TO THE NEXT LEVEL .
