That dude was so good but seemed extremely slow mentally and came off as one of those guys who were naturally talented that didn’t have to work very hard to get to where he is at.

Compare him to Devin white.

Needs to go to Bill B. in New England and revamp his career. 3-4 defense. Good fit for him.

I'm guessing that the facemasking call against the Dolphins that cost the Raiders the game and eliminated them from the playoffs was the last straw for Chucky.

The facemask was the cherry on top but giving up the 40 yard catch to a wide open WR on the sideline was worse than the facemask. Dolphins were a few yards from makeable FG range with 12 seconds left even without the penalty. Also, the Raiders passing on the TD for a FG when they couldn't run out the clock was Gruden's fault.

He had 12 sacks as a Sophmore at LSU in 2016. Since then he’s had 8 sacks in 4 years. 5 his Junior season 3 with the Raiders

Dude was one of the best pass rushers I’ve seen at LSU his soph year. Seems like the success went to his head after that and he got lazy or had issues. Shame, at worse I thought he’d be a double digit situational pass rusher on the nfl level.

I think he may still have some NFL tread on his tires, just not with the Raiders obviously. Remember, he didn't get very long to play with the same Raiders team that drafted him. Chucky came back, and they gutted the roster via trades and cuts to get in position for a total remake through the next few drafts. Arden stayed because his deal was still cheap. Khalil Mack wasn't cheap, so they shipped him. Who else on that defensive line or coming off the edge demanded any attention from blockers? They basically wasted a talented young edge player because they wanted to have better draft picks and more free agency capital. A team that can utilize Key in the right packages might get a steal at a low price now.

Don’t think he had the athleticism and bend to be a superstar in the NFL

Always pull for LSU guys. Hope Key gets it together and makes another roster.
