It shows how soft and moronic they are because they can't separate the coach from the personality. She is obviously an elite basketball coach. She has won 4 national titles between two different schools and won it all in only her 2nd year at LSU.

I mean, I might not care for Dawn Staley as a person, but I can admit that she is an elite coach. She gets her team to perform every year and has them ranked #1 again this year with 5 new starters. An elite coach is an elite coach regardless of the personality.

I think people forget Mulkey and Dawn became coaches the same year.
Kim has 4 Natty’s and over 700 wins
Dawn has 2 and over 600 wins

Correct, both Mulkey and Staley became head coaches the same year in 2000. Mulkey had the biggest turnaround in WBB history in her first year at Baylor 2000-2001 and took them to their first NCAA-T. Compare number of national championships: Kim Mulkey 4. Dawn Staley 2.

Mulkey won NC's at her 1st & 2nd head coaching jobs. Staley didn't win NC at 1st head coaching job.

Mulkey NCAA Tournaments 22 of 23 years. Record 720-117 (86%). Avg annual wins 31.
Staley NCAA Tournaments 17 of 23 years. Record 606-186 (76.5%). Avg annual wins 26. Staley will need additional 114 wins to tie Mulkey's wins, that's if Mulkey quits today.

Now, who is the better coach?

Did a mere ctrl+f and did not see Mulkey's name even mentioned in the article.

Meanwhile, Bluder is mentioned as a top offensive coach. But she's been at Iowa since 2000, and she's won 2 Big Ten regular-season titles (only 1 without Clark), 5 Big Ten tournament titles (only 2 without Clark) and been to 1 Final Four (with Clark).

In other words, without Clark, Bluder has won 1 Big Ten regular-season title (in 2008) 2 Big Ten tournament titles (2001, 2019), and no Final Fours.

How hard is it to pull the ball in Clark's hands and say "make a great pass or a great shot, Caitlin, cause that's what you do."?

And many of the weenie lib "media writers" did even see her play at LA Tech. She was as tough as nails, a leader and a general on the court. CKM was a really good player.

When you work with young women today you have to play the woke politics game in order to be loved. She doesn’t care about any of that. It’s all about business and results.

They felt the same way about her mentor, Leon Barmore. All he ever did was win a NC, played for 3 others and went his team to 9 final fours, and five more elite eights.

He essentially head coached 3 titles, but was only considered assoc. head coach for first two. Leon Barmore is grossly under appreciated in the women’s game. He is largely responsible for developing Mulkey as a coach, and suggested her as his replacement. La Tech president thought he knew better though, and the rest is history.

They can have every damn one of them. Not ONE coach mentioned in that video that I would rather see at LSU than Kim Mulkey.
