Anyone else starting to feel like the magnolia bowl is going to be very one sided?

Everywhere you look people can’t stop talking about this game. Building it up to be this massive game of the century-like game.

Part of me thinks LSU walks in there and just destroys them the same way Saban teams used to crush dreams.

Golding as a HC isn’t getting talked about enough. The guy was a decent DC I guess but he’s been on record as never wanting to be a HC. Ole Miss clearly panicked and hired him without truly searching for anyone else.

Couple that with Weiss coming with Lane, I just don’t think ole Miss can handle this. They have the game at home so that’s going for them but still I just get the feeling things get lopsided in this one.

Wait for it. LSU will steamroll Clemson. Louisville will knock off ole miss. This game will still have energy but it won’t be like people are hyping it up to be.

Ran out their building. That’ll be the Sunday headline. Saban style.

I think both teams are closely matched.

I trust to Lane to win this one though.

Are they though? People are greatly underestimating the Lane, Kevin smith and Weiss factors.

Their QB ain't no joke. I don't care if he throws for 300+ and runs for 100 as long as we get the W and improve the following week.

Ole Miss will be tough Week 3.

Like I said I trust our staff to win this game though. This will be the only time under Lane that this game will be closely matched talent wise. I predict a 27-20 game or so

I think it will be a dog fight that we win close. OM still has one of the best QB+RB1 tandems in the nation, and Golding will field a good D.

And we still have a brand new offense top to bottom. I think it will be a hell of a game that the Tigahs will by 7.

This will be one of Ole Miss’s most talented teams ever, probably second only to last years team.

LSU is rebuilding with a brand new staff.

Pimp the brakes a minute.

That said, even Brian Kelly’s Nussmeier-led team almost beat them last year.

We have a completely new program. I'm not expecting anything.

It will be like LSU Ole Miss 2003 but with more points.

The reason is the circumstances, Frosted Tips Petey will be at home, he stills has Chambliss, Lacey, and a slew of talent left.
If he and OM are going to beat LSU they better do it that day because that’s their only time it seems possible.
I still hate when people talk about OM not one person will not just come out and say OM is Lane’s brainchild and culture(everybody beats around the bush because of the hate for CLK).
LANE built this team, LANE got and made Chambliss. LANE got Lacey.
We will all know about PG in 3yrs following this season when he has to shop, cook, and serve all the groceries. It WON’T be 30-5 after the next 3 seasons.

Lane knows Golding’s defense to a tee..

I’m excited for the halftime adjustments and the approach. The chess match will be something I wouldn’t bet against Lane on.

Also Ole Miss has a new OC too with subpar OTs and worse WR corp. I don’t necessarily think they will be clicking by week 3

Bro we had a pick 6 called back and lost 24-20. We sucked last season.

Lsu is gonna curb stomp ole piss. This LSU team is low key, a legitimate powerhouse this season.

And yet the most talented Ole Miss team ever could barely scrape by the worst LSU offensive team in my lifetime. If LSU has any ounce of a competent offense last year they most likely beat that Ole Miss team. And now that we have an Offense with quite a bit more talent and ran by two offensive minded geniuses I just don’t see Ole Miss coming out on top this year.

But who knows I’ve been wrong before.

The biggest difference in the game will be the experience level of both HC’s. I also think the home field might hurt Golding too, lots of pressure on a new coach who I think isn’t SEC head coach material

1,000% this.

Some of Lane's guys are still, which means his culture/swagger is still somewhat there.

As years go by, ole miss will without question fall back down to where they once were...and then continue to fall.

If a ticky tack PI isn’t called on DJ Pickett’s pick 6 we win that game

They have the best returning backfield in the SEC and home field advantage. It will be a very difficult game to win. Take off the P&G glasses.

Let’s just worry about nobodies from Clemson for now. No need to look ahead.
