Please log off. The oline is 10 times better than last year. Defense has players. QB is number two Heisman candidate. You have a top 10 Wr group. A very serviceable rb group. The biggest ? Is your CBs. FL don’t have much and we seen that last night.

I definitely get what you're saying. We've looked like crap in the last 3 openers. And first games always have a lot of mistakes, but we have a successful returning QB who has had a whole year to learn the offense and improve chemistry with his WRs, an OC and DC who also now have had a whole year with most of their players, and a returning head coach who is usually well prepared and knows his personnel better now.

Although LSU could lose because FSU is a great week 1 opponent, I expect LSU to look much better than they did a year ago in the opener. The previous years we had a new DC each year and different QBs starting from year to year (very important). Also, Ed O was taking bedroom pics with blonde bimbos, so he clearly wasn't as focused as a head coach needs to be either.

We will at times look a tad sloppy, it is our first game. That being said, part of the BK experience is actually well coached teams so I doubt we look like complete and utter dog shite.

UF got beat a lot worse than the score indicates. Sunbelt Billy is in for a rough 2nd season in the SEC.

Nope. Unlike Florida, we have a good coach.

Coaching wasn't the problem last night.
No Talent. Although the QB and WR played better the fourth quarter. Unfortunately for Florida, they played a tough opponent, on the road, their first game.
Remember LSU vs Florida St last season. We had talent, but no experience in playing together.

LSU and Florida have completely different talent levels right now. I'm not worried were going to look like Florida did last night. They looked like straight arse.

Will Florida have a guy drafted in the first two days of the draft this year?

UF doesnt have a very good team and doesnt have a very good coach.

LSU has good talent and depth and a good coaching staff. I think we will be ok.

No, because Florida has one of the worst rosters they've had in decades. They are not a good team. Their fans will be calling for Napier to be fired by midseason (if they haven't already)

I feel like BK has the team ready to play but history has taught me the following:

BK was 4-11 vs top 10 teams @ ND. That is a 26% winning percentage vs top 10 competition. Not good.

The rant tells me that we have better talent, better athletes & much better recruiting. Having said that...

BK is 2-2 vs top 10 teams @ LSU. That's a 50% winning percentage up to this point.

Monday morning BK will either be at 3-2 or 2-3 vs top 10 teams here @ LSU. I'm hoping for a slug fest type game similar to the Alabama game last year. Lets just hope that it's not a repeat of the shite show we saw during the Tennessee.

For the record I'm predicting a slim LSU victory. Tigers win by 1 score.

Our special teams last year really hurt us all year but at no point of last season did we look like a poorly coached team. We ran out of gas/depth against A&M but we never looked like that dumpster fire of a Florida team last night.

I really think we win by +7.

If Smoka' Da' Polian was still coaching special teams, it could be a possible concern. But he isnt. #5 is still likely a "1 read and run, miss the open vertical read" guy, but he is low turnover and line is better and Wire won't be on field leaking Seminoles all night. And Kaleb Jackson will get #4's carries, which is a wildcard for Tigers. We are thin at DB so a 34 to 31 contest could be in store.

LSU’s roster was in worse shape than Florida’s, not even close. We had a WR playing QB in a bowl game. This roster was built from top to bottom. Last season was the worst roster Kelly will ever have at LSU.
