TS is limited with what they can do on the stadium floor because the stands were built right to the ground level, unlike most stadia that have the stands end up about 8 feet above the floor. If that were the case they would be able to put some of those ground level suites in, like those renderings. Can’t do that with the current setup.

This is why I don't get it...so the answer is make gameday MORE expensive.

The blue collar fan can’t afford to shell out money. Rich people will if you provide them with amenities. All LSU cares about is the bottom line, not whether people are sitting in their seats or loud.

Why would you pay for south endzone stadium club thats not a good viewing experience and not covered when you can pay half and see better and still drink in the stadium?

Cause it comes w a buffet included...which is clutch when concession prices and quality are what they are. I haven't sat there in years but the buffet, while simple, was better than concession offerings snd worth it

So the buffet is worth how much? especially when most people get full eating at the tailgate

The only reason I buy food in the stadium is because my kids get hungry and they aren't too picky

Again...it's been a few years since I sat there, but at the time it was worth what the tickets cost. Yea I fill up at the tailgate, but when I kept drinking at the game those few plates of chicken tenders I hammered down were awesome

I am more interested in the upgrades to concourse and areas under the stadium. Plain and simple in those areas we have the Sh*&&est looking stadium I have been to in the SEC. No Doubt the outside looks fine and we have the best in seat experience in College Football but everything else our stadium is a DUMP!! Time to polish the Old Girl Up and Get Her Looking Right!!!

I know OP title says Tiger Stadium but has a similar survey ever been sent out for Alex Box? Box needs upgrades more than Death Valley.

So you get a box, and they put the TV feed on a TV in front of you?

That sounds pretty nice.

You should hear what my actual living room sounds like when I watched games at home (or sounded like before SammyTigerJr arrived)

I pretty much dont care about the other shite but i like the patio seating idea.

When i mean other shite, the other premium seating options. Obviously I put concessions, clean restrooms as very important.

If you are coming from out of town being able to get in 1-2 hours before and having good food would be something a lot of people would take LSU up on.

There were definitely a few times im getting to br and parking less than an hour before kickoff. Im going to need to eat at some point before that game is over.

While some of it is solid like adding more chair backs and making the councourses more navigable, there were about 10 proposed PREMIUM SEATING ADDITIONS. Everything from larger suites, to lounges, to patios and even a living room set up..A DAMN LIVING ROOM. They feel what people really want is to pay $300 to sit in a living room in the stadium.

You're complaining that that they have too many options, some you like, some you don't? That is the whole point of a survey. They asked about everything from seating to concessions/bathrooms to gameday atmosphere to parking. If the majority of people don't want it then it's not going to get added. Y'all want to complain about everything, then get mad that you have to fill out a survey asking how they can make it better.

I fully believe they already know exactly what they are going to do.
This survey is just laying the groundwork for coming out with the new ticket pricing.
Expect to pay about 100 to 150 more per season ticket seat per year.

The “living room” is exactly what the fans want.

It was the longest survey I think I've ever taken.

Stadium renovations require substantial funds to support them. Selling additional suites, luxury boxes, etc. is how those funds are largely acquired. Many corporations & individuals are happy to foot the bill to acquire these seats.

While I have the means to afford some of the proposed premium seating options they referenced, I highly doubt I decide to actually purchase them. Tickets are simply just too easily attainable on the secondary market, & a significant percentage of those is below the total costs required to purchase directly from LSU.

Here's some of the other renderings they included in the survey.

Concourse

More Concourse

Seatbacks

Patio Seating

Ledge Seating

Super Suites

Loge Boxes

Living Room Boxes

Luxury Suites

DAMN LIVING ROOM

Yeah I don't get the allure of field level suites in general. A little too much look at me and not enough being able to see the game. shite I imagine with the TS crown, you're looking up at the game. No thanks. It's Stadium club or NEZ or nothing for me

Me too...which is why it's discouraging. Gameday going to get more expensive, less electric, more corporate....oh and more paid parking that'll cut into more tailgate spots

If you can't understand the drive to maximize the price of every square inch of the stadium, then I just don't know what else to tell you.

Holy smokes that thing is long. What idiot developed a survey that can take 20+ minutes without letting you know up front. I suspect a lot of respondents will just close out mid way.

Par for the course with athletic administration I suppose.

Redoing the lower bowl is probably a good idea. BUT, I am not going to pay significantly more for my 2 season tickets when we play three home games against teams like UAB, New Mexico, and Southern. Too much hassle for that kind of competition.

I plan to reorder my two NEZ season tickets this year, but I wonder how many more years I'll do that.
