That might have been a QB draw. Look at the center heading downfield and the QB makes a move forward before seeing the Perkins missile.

You might be right. If so it’s crazy that Perkins got there before he could even plant his feet to run forward.

nope. WRs are running routes and RB is in pass protection

That was a very well disguised blitz. Auburn's QB and RB thought Perk was going to guard the RB out of the backfield but he was covered by the safety. The pre-snap alignment and slight delay by Perkins sold it.

You don’t think it’s a little odd that the RG shows pass block then takes off down the field? All of the routes are toward the sidelines, clearing out the middle of the field.

I’m not saying it was a designed draw 100% but it seems possible to me.
