Went last year. Had an AirBnB or VRBO which was about a one mile walk to the stadium. Glad we walked because I didn’t see any cars moving in the traffic while we walked back
It is a great area. Go to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art if you like art. It’s free if I recall correctly.

It snowed the last time we went it was incredible. Great college town. The bars/restaurants are walkable from the stadium.

I had to look it up and I am pretty sure we went to Dickson Strret Pub in Fayetteville.

My condolences. War Memorial is, by far, the worst stadium I have ever visited. The structure, the parking, the seats, the atmosphere and the amenities are atrocious. That stadium is not even suitable for high school football. It needs to be torn down.

That's one trip I wish to attend. Heard NW Arkansas is beautiful in the fall.

Haven't been to an LSU game there yet, but my son is a freshman at Arkansas. XNA airport is convenient. I usually fly from BTR but there are some direct flights from MSY, very reasonably priced. Everyone up there is really friendly and nice.

Some do haha. My wife is a UA grad and one of our first arguments was baseball when she said they were the premier SEC baseball team.

Its so heckin nice - way better than BR except for the campus, stadium, tailgating, and quality of the team.
My family was 3 generations of LSU grads but the 4th generation all going to Arky so far.

I preferred Little Rock honestly. Yes Fayetteville is more modern but it's also 3 more hours and previously you could eat Thanksgiving Dinner and drive 6 hours and be in Little Rock by 7 on Thanksgiving night. We used to stay downtown at the Peabody with the ducks. Get there in time for a few cocktails and the game was at 1:30 or 2:30 on Friday. Never was too cold. Lots of tailgating and no really bad seats in that stadium. Traffic wasn't bad and if you so desired you could drive home after the game and have the whole weekend to hunt.

This is good advice. I've been many times as a daughter graduated from there. Could snow, could be gorgeous. Gotta prepare for both. Eureka Springs is less than an hour from Arky campus. It's almost a must do while you're in the area. Very cool hippy laid back historic city. And don't forget to walk around the stadium and see the $3 million hog sculpture Jerry Jones donated to the school.

We went last year. Had a great time. Got an AirBNB 3 blocks off Dickson Street. Could walk everywhere we wanted to go.
We went to Herman’s Rib House, which was a few miles drive from where we were. It’s a great hole in the wall place with great food and memorabilia all over.
We got there Thursday and the Saints were playing Thursday night, so we walked to Farrells Sports Bar on Dickson Street which was a lot of fun.
Had dinner at The Atlas restaurant that Friday night. It was very nice.
Went to the Vault one night for cocktails which was a nice place.
All in all, Fayetteville is a great college town and wonderful place to hang out for a long weekend.

Great road game . I hated when we used to play Arkansas in war memorial stadium . North Arkansas is nice

For this game, the Razorbacks left 2 inches of snow and ice on the metal bleacher seats of the LSU visiting section. The rest of the stadium seats were clean as a whistle. We scraped off the snow and dug off the ice and sears were really cold. Thanks Razorbacks, really funny
I go to the game after big tailgate at my house. Lots of fun.
best advice: go fly fishing if not ball shrinking cold.

Loved it. Fans are friendly. There’s Wrights BBQ is pretty darn good. There’s a couple locations. Not far from campus. Depending on where you’re staying one may be closer than the other.

I went to War and it was great tailgating but the fans are the absolute worse fans I’ve ever been around. Set the golf course on fire, ran over the parameter fencing and gates, hit us and other LSU fans with stuff while walking out of the stadium… worst game experience ever for me. Trash fans…. I own a houseboat at Lake Ouachita in AR and they are complete arrogant idiots…

Great place. The opposite of Baton Rouge. You can walk without worrying about getting mugged or shot. Traffic moves fast. Beautiful stadium.
Two negatives of NW Arkansas.
It’s cold as balls.
The food is cardboard, no flavor whatsoever if you’re used to South Louisiana.
Wrights BBQ in Johnson is the best and it’s not close.
If you are a sushi lover, KJ’s in Fayetteville is terrific. Doesn’t loom like much, hole in the wall and not fancy but super food and servo e from the Korean couple that own it.
Best cheeseburger, Patrick’s Burgers. Been around about 50 years and it’s a fine, greasy, burger the way they should be.
