First the hiring of Lane Kiffin
You got the Daniel's #5 situation
You get some journalist and SEC schools, circle jerking each other. Wanting to knock LSU out of the conference
Now this court ruling , all before the first game of the year.
I honestly cannot remember a more weird , interesting off season including the championship seasons.
Anybody disagree?

2005 comes to mind. 2011 was crazy from the beginning.

I think the last time there was this much controversy was in the mid 80s with the Broadhead federal wiretapping (FBI involved) and the shenanigans with Dale Brown's recruiting violations.

The Jeremy Hill "team vote" brought the drama. And then Les still suspended him for a half
