You're going to have a great time. Just be sure to come back tell us all about your game day experience next week.

This. 1000 times this. I certainly wouldn't wait in line for it, and I'd go to Butcher 2x before I'd even consider it. Butcher brisket >>>> Mother's debris, and that's not even discussing the muffaletta.

I just hope there aren't throngs of punks harassing the uw fans like there were in seattle harassing me and my group.

It's pretty disheartening some of these stories. So far it's either a really kick A$$ time in Seattle or the worst experience ever.

Sorry Jay, wish you could have met me instead... I like to party

My Seattle trip was the best away game I have ever experienced. We tailgated right in the middle of the UW fans. Only LSU canopy in a sea of Washington fans. We were slinging plates of jambalaya and white beans to the UW fans that walked by and they loved it. All the locals I ran into were great whether at the hotel, bars, or tailgate.

We had a small group of very pretty UW coeds boo us as we walked to the tailgate but they were so good looking we didn't mind.

I've become emotionally invested in your journey to NOLA and Baton Rouge. You owe us a full recount of your trip and game day experiences- good and bad. Best of luck to you and safe travels tonight.

Don't forget a shrimp po-boy, trout amandine, char-grilled oysters, shrimp remoulade, bananas foster, blackened redfish, crab cakes, a Hurricane at Pat O'Brien's, Aquarium of Americas, Harrah's, Jackson Square, Riverwalk, Haunted House Tours, etc.
Saturday get to campus early. If you walk around with your Husky P&G and smile at 'Tiger Bait', you will not go hungry or thirsty...

And Cafe Olait and Beignets

That comment about Cafe O'lait is simply the first thing I'm going to enjoy! I will not miss the rest, trust me!

On game day-REMEMBER-get to the Indian Mounds area "up the hill" from the stadium, watch the band, get in the stadium EARLY .

NOLA can kick even the heartiest man's arse.Don't say you weren't warned. And that really hot chick with the DD'S on Boubon Street ? That's a man baby! Don't be a Gump. Say no.

You should have your trip pretty much planned, and most of the advice on here is solid

My two cents would be to DEFINITELY wear something so people know you are from UW. That way you will get free food and booze. Also I love going to away games and having people taunt me so it should be fun here.

Go see Mike in his habitat and go see the band and team march down the hill.

Glad y'all are coming down

So... wow.

Our trip started off like the movie hangover and ended in a glorious surprise ending like no other.

I don't even know where to begin, do ya'll want a novel, just a recap of Baton Rouge, or just the cliff notes?
