I'll preface this with... I'm in a UW jersey, shorts, flipflops and a black cowboy hat. To top this all off I have the most ridiculous fu-manchu / gunslinger beard and a HUGE American flag / Bald Eagle tattoo on the right arm.
If I have any chance to make this girls friend want to bang Storey I have to make her really respect us and in my current attire this is a tall task! So, I decide to go for the holesome route and sing along loudly to the country songs, get the girls dancing and happy. Once this happens I seperate so Storey can do some striking. I tell this girl about my new 10 Week old baby girl and the wifey at home and how much I miss them, etc. This game is the greatest, b/c all of is completely true and no matter how much you just go over the top it's never an exaggeration. So, this girl is in hook line and sinker she's saying things like, "wow, you guys are such great guys" "So, nice, so down to earth and genuine". Their hotel was at the W which is right by ours and we decide to walk them home circa 4AM. Well, on the walk home this girl decides to tell me about how she met a guy... at Ricks. I'm a bit aggressive with my making fun and focus on how she was excited about meeting a prospective guy at a strip club. She gets bummed out and starts actually crying. So, yes, I was walking with a crying girl down Canal street...
The only way I know how to remedy this and not have her be bummed and cock block Storey is to be spontanius and crazy... So, I'm standing in the foutain in front of the W's parking area telling the girls if they don't jump in and spontanius they aren't going to have a good time. What do you know? It worked!! Girls get in, Storey gets in and then the parking guy comes over to tell us, "NO". So, we sit on the edge and put our feet in and then Storey goes upstairs with them and I head home.

falling asleep at 6AM and having to be on the party bus at 9AM is very rough, however, we were greeted with the gem I put in my signature. The only thing we can come up with is that in the bathroom, you cannot masturbate while cowboys are pooping!

For both games, Seattle and here. I wish we would play more often-probably the best road game I've been to, and their fans are knowledgeable and quite fun to hang out with.

Nothing makes a hungover, sleep deprived 1.5 hr drive better than:
The sign in the bathroom
Shots of Vodka w/ pickle juice chaser
Wait what? Yeah, apparently the other guys drinking it convinced me it was a great idea! WOW.
Then we arrive at the stadium...
Pretty intimidating to pull up past the practice fields and see those banners! Good work guys.
We then walked towards the stadiums and took a left and headed up Victory hill. Stopped at a few tailgates, had a luge shot, nothing crazy.
Then I got up across from the two mounds that look like a nice rack
and broke my Tigerbait virginity. Now, I was surprised it took that long... but as you have told me... I have grown to love that saying. Yeah, call me what you want and then feed me and give me as much alcohol as I can drink? Yes PLEASE! The rest of our group of ~60-80 kept walking and my immidiate group stayed. Storey, Kris, and I played beer pong, flip cup, ate Brisket / Jumb / etc. It was still 11AM so it wasn't too hot to eat food at this point. After a few hours we decided we needed to wander. and started walking towards where the player busses come in an such..

Thanks! The feeling is absolutely mutual.
We made our way down and found another Tigerbait chant and headed in. This tailgate had BBQ Chicken to die for... and more beers than we could drink... we tried. These guys have a weirder shot preference than the vodka/ Pickle juice and that is they were taking shots of Vodka and Pepto Bismal.
Now my motto is that I'll try anything once... so he poured one out and I shot it. Given at this point it's circa 3PM and hot as the dickens it was actually one of the most refreshing shots ever. It helped with the Jumbo b/c I'm a spice pussy and it also made my mouth taste fresh for the first time since I brushed them before the party bus. Definitely a shot I'll be doing more of when it's hot out...
Nothing extremely crazy happened until the game and it was the standard drinking, me singing to "call me maybe" like a D bag, etc. I specifically asked the 2nd tailgate when I needed to head to see Mike and the band and he said I had about 15 min. By the time I left and made it down there... Mike and band were long gone. Being a fan of tradition I was really pissed to have missed that.

So, we made our way back to the first tailgate and they insisted on walking us to the game to make sure we got to the right place and nobody got out of line and were disrespectful to us. One of our girls we were walking with had a full rum and coke and said she needed help when we made it to the stadium, so I showed an LSU girl how to drink and pounded a full 16oz drink.
Apparently I needed it for the game.
I made sure when I got up top to take a min and enjoy the scenery overlooking the whole town of Baton Rouge and it was awesome :)
Got to our seats and lost my voice on that first drive. At that point, I was bummed we only got 3 out of it, but was completely optomistic. Then things got our of hand...
made it back on the party bus to NOLA and had the standard night. Not as bad as Night #1, but not as good as Night #2

Now for the surprise ending...
Wake up Sunday and have a few hours before we have to leave for airport... So, I decide to head down to the block my phone was on and try one last time. Walk into all the bars, yadda yadda yadda.. no luck
Well, I'm not really a strip club kinda guy (I know, you're thinking: Uhh you like to party...) but I digress... walk into some and this guy opens up their lost and found cupboard and takes out a black phone and I see a while debit card under it...
Does that debit card say: Kris?
Him: Yup!
My brother's smile was priceless....
I'm a big boy and can get a new phone, he however, is moving to NYC and I just dropped him off at the airport. Two days after flying home, flying to NYC with no phone or debit card would have been BRUTAL. So, fate shined on us a bit and life is good!
Flew home on Sunday (my 5 year anniversary with the wife) and told her how much I missed her and I was glad to be home

Well, first and foremost, you don't condone masturbating to pooping cowboys. Given that I wore a cowboy hat all weekend, I was really appreciative and hold you guys in high regards!

TS- from the outside looks pretty normal, but sitting up at the top it was simply massive. I guess being able to see everything helped out. Tailgating aside, the chants are spot on and everyone participates which makes for a friggin fun game. I could feel some nervous tension when we got off the that ridic start, but at no point did the crowd get quiet or lose the muster. Needless to say the crows was awesome!
I think my favorite thing about the stadium was the views. Looking out over the buildings and the river and such. It was awesome! Now it doesn't really compare to Husky Stadium
but it is completely awesome compared to every other pac12 / Qualcomm and other bowl games I've been to.
I think the most impressive part for me was the tailgating. I mean, I know everyone parties and has their thing, but I would consider us the best travelling fan and the best tailgaters. I've never seen anything like 90 in and 90 out. There are a few people who tailgate and don't go to Husky games, but the volume of them down there was mindblowing!

Good stuff, glad you had a good time.
It looks like you worked the "Tiger bait!" angle just right. So many fans come down for a game and just get too riled up over it - and never get the beer or the food.

My group of 7 owned Walk-Ons the night before. Fun crowd and very fun waitresses. But fairly slow night for LSU fans.
Game day. Everyone was extremely welcoming. Not one bad experience with one fan Only got a handful of tigerbaits (except that little 5 year old who tigerbaited the shite out of us-
).
Almost felt like it would be insulting to refuse all the food that was being handed out. And when they gave you a bowl of something, it was completely full. Incredible. Had no problem getting food or drink and think the hospitality was second to none. Many LSU fans were waiving over scores of UW fans to invite them to their tailgates. Was very cool to see.
Loved seeing the tailgates throughout campus. Made it way more spread out than our tailgates (which are all back to back in parking lots with the exception of the small North lot and the lake). Other than the hospitality and throwing tons of food at you, the most obvious difference with our tailgates was space (and I'm certain your tailgates had many more concert-like sound systems blaring).
The Tiger walk down Victory Hill was pretty cool. We don't have anything like that as our campus isn't used for football games hardly as we use the entire lower campus area near the lake instead. Not sure I've ever seen so many opposing fans be so tightly squished together without any arguments or problems. Very cool to see.
The stadium was not all that special from the outside. The other facilities - like the baseball stadium - were impression. On the inside, Tiger Stadium appeared huge (but also was stting on the top row with a nice breeze and views of campus). The wind from above was quite different than on the field - in fact, opposite most of the time by the look of the flags on the goal posts vs the stadium flags).
Stadium sound system was terrible. Maybe the wind affected it. Crowd noise was good, but expected a lot more (and this was before the game was decided too). Smelled like corndogs at one point (which was funny considering the stereotype I've heard). I didn't see the crazy or ridiculous atmopshere of a night game that was promised. I expected more and expected a more electric game time atmosphere too. Maybe the beat down affected it but I didn't see it before the game or at the beginning. Maybe it was the fact our seats were so high up and not in the LSU sections.
Did not see a single run in or problem with any fans. Even after the game when UW fans' heads were hung low, there was no taunting or BS. In fact, only heard genuine comments such as "be safe," "thanks for coming," or "hope you enjoyed the trip" (and not in a sarcastic way either).
A terrible game but a very cool trip. Thoroughly enjoyed it, the Tiger fans, and the top notch tailgating.

Great story, and awesome to hear a visting fan's perspective on LSU gameday experience.
I know I saw a few Huskie fans on here thinking we were screwing with them when they asked where tailgating was located, and our answer was anywhere on campus... hopefully you guys understand now that we weren't being sarcastic.

We save that atmosphere for real games.
