Does he sign now and use the little leverage he has or does he return for another season and then be forced to sign whatever contract he is offered?

By reading into what OTHERS say in this forum. They all say they will go if they are picked. And I said they most know everything.

Slaughter would still have leverage next year. He has a lot of room to improve his signing bonus. It would be somewhat foolish for him to sign this year.

After Hess & Watson weren't taken in the top 10 rounds...almost EVERYONE thinks both of them are coming back next year (even if drafted).

I have to think Antoine comes back.

I would also come back if I was Slaughter. Bet on yourself and you could get a nicer bonus.

Uhh basically everyone on this board said Hess was leaving.

I think Lester even said he was going to be a first or second round pick, but then again he's a fricking moron.

We probably lose Hess and Watson if they are drafted close to their top 100 projection. Now, with two years of eligibility left and leverage in negotiations next year I think they stay. Not 100% but a high probability.

Maybe he wants to stay and go to college with his brother Mondo, who's coming for track this fall. We saw that happen with the Nola boys, though they were teammates in college
