Coaches aren't like fans. They don't see it as disowning LSU momentarily. Lane respects Golding and those players and wants to make the final stretch for the CFP as fair as it can be, within reason.

It’s the boosters that don’t like Lane really. And the fans. I think most of the coaches and players know he tried to stay and finish the season.

And now him letting them borrow coaches will go a long way in the future when the media, etc looks back on the situation.

I did not know all had signed contracts

They haven’t signed contracts with LSU, they have signed term sheets, or memorandums of understanding. They are still under contract at Ole Miss.

What’s to keep any of these guys from staying at OM?

My understanding is they have exceplict non-compete clauses related to Ole Miss

We’re going to hang a 2025 playoff banner for their trip here in 2027.

If they wanted to be at Old Mrs, they wouldn’t have left in the first place.

It'll hopefully be a good advertisement for the future offense at LSU. Do you not think this will be brough up quite often during the game?

Coaches already signed contracts with LSU. What's preventing the coaches from talking to some of the players to enter the transfer portal and transfer to LSU next month?

They have signed term sheets, which, by definition, are not legally binding. Y’all drank the koolaid. Kiffin did not “let” them coach the playoffs, they are still under their Ole Miss contracts.

Bless your hearts.

Valuable experience for the coaches. Next time LSU makes the playoffs, all these coaches have playoff experience. This is the kind of experience that you can't replicate.

If Ole Miss wanted to keep Weiss Jr, they would have to payout his $6 million buyout to LSU. Which we don’t have to worry about that because Ole Miss has already hired another OC.

So you think the coaches are under contract for two schools. Do you wanna share LSU’s press release of their signing?

If you think a term sheet is so iron clad binding, then how do you suppose that Kiffin isn’t still at Ole Miss?

Bless your heart.

you can make anything binding or have extreme break up clauses in any type of legal document.. It's not my fault you seem to have little to no experience with contract law.

Have you never heard of seconded employees?

How do you explain all the coaches who have ever coached in the playoffs with jobs already lined up and signed deals
