Because we barely had enough players to field a team for our bowl game and we have new starters who haven’t proven themselves all over the field. It’s not that hard to understand why people would be cautious projecting the win/loss record of this team.

Where is the "major" concern?

Tight end? Yeah there's an issue.

Corner Back? we added 4 from the portal.

LSU isn't very deep across the board, I know a lot of fans don't want to believe it but the coaching staff has said that over and over.

We have a top 10 or 5 best roster in the nation. With CBK and his staff coaching these guys up and instilling a championship culture with their process, I don’t see us winning any less than 9 games.

(No)

How the hell is the over under for wins at 6.5? Anything less than 8 wins would be a complete failure of a season.
(No not necessarily)

Did you see how many players we had drafted last year? We’ve always had the talent. It’s up to how the coaches perform

Last year was a little different. We didn’t know Eaux’s process involved hot blondes and not championships. Under CBK, there is no question.

I think leaving some room for a regime change is the reason.

the unknowns are real. so a low line. once you add the players BK brought in to go with the stars
coach O left on the roster. This is the most talented roster BK has ever had. objectively (lol). idk the record but my hope is LSU v T8&4 for a new years six berth.

Use your optimism for the pre game

Use your objectivity during the game

Use your aspirin for results of both

8-4 on high end this year, but future is bright. Not quite (yet) 2000 after Tenn OT win and Saban recruiting domination but approaching that with coach Kelly

How are we stacked??

OL - garbage last year and we have either same guys or transfers that we have no idea how they’ll do here against real competition

QB - the most talented guy did not look accurate last year

RB - talented in high school, hasn’t done much in games

Secondary - mostly all transfers you have never seen play together

LB - been a huge disappointment but they are older now

Every summer it’s nothing but positive news until the first transfer or arrest in August. In reality people remember recruiting rankings too much and just assume at some point the kids will become first rounders out of nowhere. This team was a rebuild and put together well but nobody outside of the program believes we will be better after losing so much in the offseason.

Correction: Our roster LOOKS stacked. There is a lot of unproven talent, specifically at the SEC level, plus an entirely new staff. There are significant questions that have to be answered on the field. Vegas isn’t going to up that number for those reasons.

That said, you should take the over.

Our roster is better than end of last year but still below the top contenders
Depth will be the main issue at some key positions

BK has done a fantastic job repairing this team top to bottom. He's added some solid talent to the roster. Polian has worked the transfer portal like a champ. LSU is in much better shape than when it was left by Yaw Yaw. That's not hard to accomplish, but BK is changing more than just players and coaches. He is establishing a professional organization and is completely changing the culture around the program. It will take more time to get this program into the top tier and competing for Championships. But I don't think it's that far off in the future. Things keep trending the right direction and I think LSU is in the competition in 2-3 years. I'm looking for some growing pains this year as this team is developed. But I also think LSU is going to surprise a lot of people as well. Let them fly under the radar. I'd rather be the hunter.

Come on man you could of made the same arguments on the 2019 offense going into the year

QB we sucked in 18 Burrow 57.8 percent and 16 tds

Rb Clyde was garbage only averaged 4.5 yards a carry in 2018 Emery averaged 5.0 yds in 2020

Wr Chase and Marshall were highly rated but each only averaged 250 yards for the year

OL Return the same crappy ol from the year before

See how that logic work wonders?

Keep on fishing you freaking a-hole. Unproven QB, no continuity in Oline, DB less than good, LBs huge question mark, no TE (Kelly likes tossing to backs and TEs), unproven RB.

You posted this so you can come back and hammer the coaches when it is a 7-5 season.
