Lot of games to be played. If they start healthy, can make a deep run in the tourney, but without a little luck, doubt this is a Final 4 team. In this day & age, with kids bailing out so soon, Toni’s really tough to build on annual consistency. Wade has rebuilt this team every year & is competitive every year. Can’t ask for much more .... ahh, yes we can :-)

Sure we could make the Final Four. I think it's unlikely, but anyone could.
It's all about matchups and you need a little luck. I don't think we are good enough to win it all, but if we for whatever reason get hot from 3, and take smart 3's while still getting to the rim, we could literally beat anyone.
Somethign we've been doing to teams a lot as of late is fouling out their big men, and getting into the bonus early in the half. and we are usually a very good free throw shooting team.
We went through a stretch starting with teh Utah St game where we were averaging 15 FTA per game. Conference play started and we are now attempting 24FTA per game.
That's a recipe that if it keeps up in teh tourney can easily win you games, but that's also an area that can go completely dry with shitty refs or a team that plays smart defense and doesn't foul much. That's the kind of a matchup that would be less than ideal for us.

I would generally agree with you, but sometimes a team that keeps finding ways to win can go a long way.

Yes, they do celebrate. But so far, it's been mostly the same teams going to the college playoff. With the Final Four, you have to win 4 games in the playoff to make it there, so there is a big sense of accomplishment.

That's true, but the competition is gonna be much stiffer in the tournament than what we've been playing and all it takes is one bad matchup. We'll see how this team looks once Manning gets back. The lack of a point guard combined with the dumb turnovers has me concerned as far as making a run in the tourney.

The SEC is way better than the WCC and the A10 this season and is at least on par if not better than the ACC overall.

If it weren't for Alleva's BS last yr. then yes we would have a final 4 shot this yr. That being said, CWW will still have a good year. Dude's a winner and we support winners even when we have bumps in the road. In this case it was a Boulder...

Our 1986 Final 4 team started 6-6 Ricky Blanton at center. Our tallest player was John Williams at 6-8. We regularly played 3 guards. We were not a great outside shooting team. We had to play Ga Tech in Atlanta in what was essentially a home game for them in the Sweet 16 and won. We next played Kentucky in the regional final. They had already beaten us 3 times that season. Didn't matter. We found a way to win. Anything can happen in March !!
