Am I crazy to say LSU BBall makes the Final Four this year?

I know the NCAA tourney is unpredictable, but it just seems Will Wade is two steps ahead of everyone. He called our FB team's championship run after the Vandy game and not that it matters but his prediction for the NC game was almost dead on (42-27)
We lost two 7-ft guys last year and yet we are still tearing it up at the rim. Watford is a beast. Everyone is making great strides with each game. They play smart and focused
And it just seems like we've won every big game we've played in the past 2 years (that Wade coached). At what point does it stop sounding crazy to suggest that we will outright win the NCAA tournament within the next 2-3 years?

I hope you're right, but I don't see it.

I think there's a chance as long as we figure out how to play with leads. Eventually it's going to catch up to us against elite teams. This is certainly a very well coached team, though.

It’s possible. College basketball as a whole is a crap shoot this year. The things this team does great travels well and is great for neutral site games. Even if you have a bad shooting night the way they attack the offensive boards allows for you to still win.

We will have to get some continuity with the roster, but if we can get people to come back next year and supplement with some transfers, we could be dangerous.

Maybe, this is a down year for college basketball.

It just feels good to be in the tournament two years in a row. Anything can happen there.

It would be a surprise. Making it to the sweet 16 this year would be exceeding expectations.

Poor outside shooting and unforced errors/turnovers will prevent a final four run IMO.

Man I don’t expect it but it could happen. I’ll be happy with another sweet 16 visit. Just keep building baby.

Yes, you are crazy to say LSU will make it to the final four of the craziest tournament in all of sports. But hey, I hope you are right.

Anything is possible, but the predictive metrics aren't really in LSU's favor for a final four run. Their defensive efficiency rating is awful (currently 127) and WELL outside the range of the teams that generally make the Final Four.
IF they continue to improve on defense (they played better in the last two games) they could have an outside shot. But more likely they'll run into a team who is good enough offensively to destroy LSU's poor defense and strong enough inside to mitigate the rebounding advantage. Michigan St. was such a team last year and you saw the result.

Considering they have won 10 in a row, it's possible. They only have 4 losses and 3 of those were by 2 points. It's always really hard to make a Final Four, but I don't see a lot of teams that I feel would overwhelm LSU considering their talent and athleticism.

I feel everything was lining up last year then they suspend Will MF Wade. Sucks man.

We can’t really compete with Duke Or Kentucky normally, They Bring in 5 Stars on 5 Stars. Their entire team is players with Trendon Watford skill level or better. College Basketball is having a crazy year and it is March Madness.

This team will be a 5 seed and lose to a 12 in the first round. The way that they've been unable to put away teams after building up huge leads is indicative of that.
