Tigers have advantage with these high tech headgears. What a cool idea.

They’re really gonna need it if this weather doesn’t chill out

I bought the hardhat version from the same company. it's really just a fan, but it's pretty good. It's kind of loud though.

It's summer. August. Louisiana. Some of you ladies are so soft

Tigeraire. Blair Barbier is one of the guys involved with it.

I can't imagine these things actually do much in this kind of heat. There's no cooling function. It's just a fan blowing the same hot air. Better than nothing I guess but go outside, run around and then hold a small handheld fan in front of your face and see what difference it makes.

They are apparently all the rage in highschool football too. Just installed one in my son's helmet yesterday...

I don’t believe they even used these during training camp did they? I don’t expect they would need to use them for a game.

Starting to see more and more Boudreaux Boxes pop up for a cool $180k.

I am assuming other schools have this helmet?
Are the helmets supplied solely to LSU?

Think about fans in a PC. It's the same hot air that is in the PC case but when it's moving it's cooler!

Have you ever worn a football helmet in the August heat while playing the game? I have and that helmet traps a lot of heat and sweat around your head.
So just having the helmets actively ventilated could make a big difference.

Its a neat concept.... I doubt LSU has some sort of competitive advantage. I'd be willing to bet every SEC school has these or atleast the big dogs.
You may not see them up north or on the west coast but I'm sure any team in the south will be sporting these
