I thought he left baseball for something completely unrelated, and the money had to be pretty good

I watched his interview with Jacque Doucet last week. He genuinely seemed like he was moving in from baseball due to having young kids

He was basically offered the third assistant job before PM took it back and gave it to Jim Hendry's son.
