Transfers don't sign. He's not bound by anything. He could've signed a scholarship agreement, but those are nonbinding.

I'm sure but he's not exactly Shaka Smart here. I think we've just got to come to terms with maybe it's just not an attractive job. I mean, Johnny Jones is a crap of a coach and that's the target? I mean, seriously? I'm just disappointed all the way around.

Well hopefully we'll figure something out by Friday/Saturday, but if we end up hiring JJ I might take a shite on my boss' desk at work the next business day. Hopefully that will cheer everyone up.

Another reason to deny Alleva spoke with Dixon or his agent.....in the advocate article Alleva mentions that everyone at North Texas knows Jones is a candidate and they asked for permission and went through the proper channels. He could be refuting the reports because he probably hasn't asked Pittsburgh's permission

Not a problem. If it was Dixon I'd be more than thrilled. Probably involuntary bowel movement from excitement.
If JJ is the coach, I'm not wasting my time. Who has Johnny Jones ever pulled nationally to UNT worth a crap? LA puts out maybe one decent top 100 player every 4 years. We're not going anywhere like that.

Well alleva isn't my boss but I'll deliver him a digiorno with a fat turd on it too if Johnny is the next basketball coach. I just can't see LSU having to fall all the way back to the coach of north Texas just because he played here and had Louisiana ties. Hell if that's the case sign up Stromile Swift, he could use the cash and probably could put together a better squad of streetballers.
