I would love to beat the breaks off them or win with a field goal as time expires after a massive comeback.

The best case scenario is:

The OM offense cannot operate dynamically and we shut them down completely making Trinidad a shell of his former self.

The LSU offense is the Kiffin offense on crack…puts up 28 in the first quarter.

This shuts them up and makes them leave…and puts them back in their runt corner with Kiffin envy for the next decade.

Came here to post this. Nothing is more humiliating than your opponent employing the mercy knee with five minutes left in the game, on your home field.

I may be crazy but I don’t think this game will be close in any way
Lsu will dominate all aspects of the game and put up at least 60 and ole miss scores a late touchdown against our scout team

No one wants a 62-0 Ole Miss game. Heck even Les Miles took a knee with 5 minute left when the score was getting out of hand.

This year is different. Ole Miss plays good football nowadays. Just any kind of LSU win is sufficient

Physically dominate them so badly that the humiliation is too much from which to recover this year and they go 4-8

But ... but ... what has changed? It's still Trinidad and still Blake Baker.

That’s Kirby Smart level dickishness. I, for one, would prefer my team to do better than that.

IMO best case scenario is a total demolition and humiliation. I’ll take a 1 point win, but if I could name the outcome it’s blowout.

Why would anyone GAF about 62 points with respect to Ole Miss.

Completely meaningless.

Got to save the 62 for 2030.

On the one hand, winning is the only thing that matters, however it is achieved.

On the other, if you want to nitpick the best way, it isn’t so much about score or a certain play or plays. It would come down to what is more satisfying between:

A) an LSU win in which we demoralize them the way we did to teams in years past... the type of game where the outcome is never in doubt.

B) an LSU win in which they feel like they have a chance but we break their heart... whether we come from behind or they have a chance to and fail.

There's something to be said for both. Personally, I think "B" is a little more satisfying in a a schadenfreude sort of way... by letting them think they have something and snatching it away so that they can't enjoy a good season without looking at the LSU game and being bitter about it. The 2003 game against them was one of these "almost" games which I relish a little more than some of the beatdowns we gave them in other years.

It isn't as much fun to beat them when they suck. Breaking their heart when they think they're good and denying them an SEC title or knocking them out of the top 5 means a little more.

Tigers up big in the fourth and the tgbftl plays 'neck' near the end of the game and sttdb is heard in their stadium. Pan to crowd and feast on the tears of rebel faithful. Too much?
