Is it against the law to ask someone to have sex if they are above age? If she told him no and he continued, yes he should be held accountable. If he asked once and that offended her enough to ask for him to be sat, that is asking too much. Now on the other side, that was tasteless to ask a senior citizen to have sex. I don’t that it makes him a bad person but it shows he lacks class and maturity.

It is a he said, she said scenario.

Curious on why you believe Guice given his history and firing from the NFL?

Its crass, crude, trashy but not illegal.

Should coaches only sit players (even for a half) for violating "team rules" or getting charged with a crime?

Seems like Coach O is the equivalent of a shitty parent and it's no wonder his player behaved this way. He coddled Guice because he was a star RB and didn't want to hurt his draft stock.

Lost the bowl game, draft stock still fell and Guice's problems led to USA Today which triggered HB report and here we are.

O will likely be gone in a year or two unless he beats Bama or makes it to at least a New Years Six bowl.

I haven't read it, but on radio yesterday there were quotes read that he was touching himself while saying he wanted to frick her and just kept going on and on.

That's pretty much exactly what she said.

It's he said/she said, followed by Frog Man said/Grandma & granddaughter heard.

Grand finale:
Coach O lied, Grandma cried

Rant says:
Grandma lucky that a young strapping buck such as Guice wanted to gently escort her back to the Ladies' Man's crib for a little Courvoisier.

You are defending Guice by using moral relativism to justify his behavior.

Was his activity in this case illegal? Just yes or no.

You know the 2 situations don’t have to be connected. Sexual harassment by a student athlete - though it may not cross the bounds of legality - can certainly be a suspendible offense.

Exactly.

Playing get sat all the time for unspecificied violations of "team rules".

Coach O would've been better off letting the Title IX folks handle it as he now claims he did. Instead, he tried to smooth it over with Grandma and pissed her off more because zero accountability was shown.

Maybe not illegal but IF a phone call was made then LSU has a serious problem.....

I'd love to hear the exact details of that call.

If it was to offer an apology, that's fine.

Otherwise, what else would it be for?

LSU's problem is that they never dealt with Guice. Which is a different issue from this lady wanting to think a crime was committed.

I’m hoping Catholic High bans this freak from their campus. I’ve got a nephew who’s a good kid starting there next fall.

If anyone ever thought that major integrity was one of the shining stars on O’s resume; they don’t know his past at all. It should be no shock that he has handled issues with less than high quality character. That was a given coming in. The fact we squeezed one NC under his tenure before the behind the scenes ugliness started coming out is amazing. We should probably cut ties now and just call it even.

Who, besides grandma, says he didn't.

Is there anything in this narrative that can be proven?

Why would grandma not want Guice playing football in a specific game.

Because according to her story she was harassed and humiliated and found zero help from LSU admins. She had no idea what would be an appropriate punishment but she no doubt understood a simple “apology” wasn’t the answer. If it happened as she said- Guice should have been suspended. That behavior is reprehensible. I hope we find out the facts behind this (which will be difficult) and it’s handled properly.

I have the feeling the Frog Voice Man will turn out to be a player who can do a solid coach impersonation.

Remember when Moscona refuted all of the Guice character concerns that sunk him on draft night? Scone knew him sooo well from his CHS days, no way any of this could be true ? I member
