It’s refreshing after suffering through Darcy Malone and Elbert Robinson

Dessert’s build is ridiculous. He’s going to abuse underclassmen

They can CATCH the ball THEN hold onto it long enough to SHOOT!!!!!

I’ve never seen this at LSU out of a 7’ player.

Sadly, there are less underclassmen at the major conference level than ever before

Ruzic is extremely skilled for a young 7 footer

Dessert has good strength which will be a plus vs major conference opponents., But IMO Ruzic is the most impressive player on the team. You can tell he has been very well coached in his lifetime. He’s not necessarily explosive, but he knows where to be on both sides of the ball, gets himself in position to make plays, and doesn’t make many bad plays. I think he can be a better version of Alex Condon. He may be already

He’s really good, but I was impressed with Dent. Very good guard.

Can Ruzic and Dessert exist on the court at the same time?

he is awesome. he really moves well like a normal sized person.

dessert is a strong plodder who runs like a heavy person. ruzic moves in and out quickly and with athleticism.

I am not sure of dessert will get the starting job long term or maybe ruzic will have a shot to start. maybe they will play together quite a bit I really like that. it opens up ruzic to play away from the basket and get back on defense quick on missed shots and also catch long baseball passes for easy baskets after defensive boards. Bashir really threaded the needle for him with one it was awesome.

Maybe. They bring different aspects for the role, and depending on who is on the court a different approach.

He, Diang, and Dent are the core of this team no doubt.

Dessert was good, but Ruzic looked a step above.

Are we sure Dessert isn’t actually 5’11”?

Yep. Wasn’t quite old enough to enjoy the Shaq era.
