4 days compared to 5. For the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Really? Shouldn't even be a question

If anyone here thinks that 1 time, I mean 1 time this entire season, Skenes pitches on 4 days instead of 5 days will result in an injury then I feel that's dumb. 1 day short in an entire season isn't going to result in an injury.

He already pitched on 4 days rest this series….he would be going on 3 days now which big leaguers hardly ever do.

He pitched Thursday night. It's Monday night. That's 96 hours (or 93 btwn games because games are 3 hours) or 4 days between games. Games don't last 24 hours. They last 3 hours.
Maybe people in Baseball don't calculate it that way, but that's really the correct way of counting time between games if you want to be technical.

It’s not just the 4 days vs 5.
It’s having multiple short turn arounds in a row.
It’s not just fear of an injury.
It’s your apparent assumption he is capable of performing like he has had 5 days rest.
Yes, he will pitch. Yes, he will be an asset.
But it won’t be as crisp as he was against G1 Tennessee.
Given his pitching numbers at WF, that’s not opinion. And given what he did for us, im wondering how hard of a limb he went out on. Who knows how much gas he has.
I can promise you it’s not the 7 innings posters here seem to assume he does.

I bet he starts and goes at least 7. Someone put money on it with me. For a fact. Book it

Since you’re clearly drawing a line between yourself and people who play baseball or have jobs associated with it, why would you assume that you’re correct?
Also, no sociopath in real life counts days like you people keep suggesting. Do you tell people that weekends are really practically three days since it’s 5 pm Friday to 9 Am Monday?

3 days. After 4. After several weeks of throwing a ton of pitches.
It’s a lot. They make a big deal about pro pitchers on 3 days rest where their entire life is basically getting them ready to pitch in the next game.

Skenes will whoop a coaches arse in order to get on that mound tomorrow.
You know damn well Skenes wants to be the deciding factor in LSU winning a National Championship regardless of how many days rest.

No one cares how you choose to calculate it. It’s short rest, period. You can calculate it however you want and it doesn’t make it any closer to normal rest

Thursday 6pm to Monday 6pm is 4 days, Friday 5pm to Monday 9am isn’t 3 days
Doesn’t mean it’s not short rest, and I don’t think he’s gonna start, but stop saying it’s not 4 days

Skenes will go the full nine and it will be legendary.

Pitch his fricking arm off. What are we saving him for? It’s enough rest. Get out there Paul. You’re up.

The guys giving the signing bonus may ultimately decide if or how much Mr. Skenes throws.

He pitched on 4 days rest Thursday, this would be 3 days rest.

He will pitch for as long as his arm can handle it. Might be three innings or might be nine, most likely somewhere in between. As long as he's throwing somewhere close to a hundred mph with accuracy and is striking out batters, he will pitch
