That’s not how that works. If that wouldn’t have happen how do you know the rest would have played out like that?

It’s how it works for scoring earned runs. Would people pitch/swing/play differently? Sure. But all we have to go on is what happened, so you score it AS IF the out was made.

Because neither would have scored if that out is made as the rest of the inning plays out. Milam’s walk would load an empty base, Pearson’s K would have made it 2 outs, so Hernandez’s grounder would have retired the side instead of plating a run.
It’s because the SEC can’t nut up and decide what the format of the conference will be with 16 teams, so they just have this placeholder bullshite.
The Mizzou hate boner for LSU is baffling to me.

It can’t just be jealousy of a better program, or they’d have it out for about a dozen other SEC teams too.

It’s a strange phenomenon.

Aside from the fact that this is chicken shite loser mentality:

You do realize if we win out we’re undefeated IN CONFERENCE, right?

If they lose the championship game, they will have three losses and miss the playoffs.

This will not happen. An SEC champ participant will not be punished for losing to the probable #1 team in the country in an extra game no one else played in.
The hype going into ‘22 Bama was pretty high.

If Ole Miss was undefeated, maybe it’d be #1, but not anymore. Still should be a rocking atmosphere.
He CAN give you an inning, especially if he usually has a Monday bullpen day. But they won’t do it unless they absolutely have to.

re: Tortilla Pizza Tips needed

So the advice of sauce (less is more), toppings, and let it roll until everything is melts is good.

If you’re doing it in a skillet use a lid to help melt the cheese before you start burning the tortilla.

As to the quesadilla format, that also works really well. Follow the same process as a classic Tex-Mex quesadilla and just replace filler with traditional pizza toppings and it will be killer.

I have a lot of things to say about Gator fans, but a lot less than I would if it weren’t for this thread every week. TYFYS.

Here’s to a great year, and here’s to all the midweek melts.
Who our biggest obstacle to victory every year replaces their HC with matters more than our safeties coach.

Based on absolutely no insider knowledge whatsoever, I think they kind of didn’t expect to get Bo and now they’re trying to figure out exactly how the rest of the staff shakes out before they announce people and their roles.

Zero sauces.

I was just starting to think that the melt really hasn’t happened from Bama fans the way I would have guessed.

Now the shock is wearing off, reality is setting in, and the melt is beginning. I’m looking forward to it.
Why are you giving them clicks by sharing it? These lists come out all the time. Is it worth these idiots getting attention just so you can get some attention on TD?

The chants directed towards Christian Laettnar when they played LSU.

This is the correct answer in terms of “worst” as far as modern sensibilities go. You can go find the footage, clear as day.

If you want to get old school, my old man told me once that they used to chant, “What comes out of a Chinaman’s arse!?” “RICE! RICE! RICE!” back in the old days against . . . well I would guess you can guess who that was against, but that story always makes me laugh.

We had less than 100 punt return yards all season long.

To be fair, how many punts did we actually force? We gave up a lot of scores this year. Obviously the main culprit is the general policy of just catch it, coupled with the fact you trusted your offense to drive down and score no matter what, but the lack of forced punts this year has to be a contributing factor to the total lack of PR yards.

I may have some bad news for you, my friend.

The issue is there could be a scenario where the loser of the SECCG gets left out of the playoff while the second lace team in the division gets in because they don’t have to play that extra game

No there isn’t. The top two teams in the SEC will be in the playoff every single year, even after one loses an extra game. They won’t fall out of the top 10. The SEC will get three annually, four in strong years.
