Are there any actual facts in this thread yet or still conjecture?

Are you replying to me or just the most recent post?

Well we did have one poster that said the investigation is done and the facts are out and we still deny everything. I’m still waiting on the link to the final report.

Likely nothing...he will likely transfer after O's weak statement.

I've been handled bad by police. Nobody gave a shite.

If Moore is in the wrong, then why withhold the video of the encounter?
Denying a public records request should not be allowed in situations like this. BRPD is pulling a Cam Newton.

I cant believe some of you are really trying to spin the George floyd situation
That cop had no reason to be on his neck.
Dude was handcuffed and wasn't going anywhere

Spin? Some of us corrected false statements made about the Floyd situation because some of us think facts matter. Those who try to suppress facts or ignore them are the ones you should be concerned with.

In case you didn’t know, the Minnesota DA purposely held out the video coverage of Floyd cutting up in the car and before. Only showed the part of him being restrained on the ground. Only wanted the public to see that part. But that was just to cause civil unrest and get the Orange man out. Which apparently worked.

The tapes in this case likely aren't in the DA's hand. There are no legal or criminal charges against any parties. I guess that's one reason why releasing the tapes are up to the department's discretion.
Still. Refusing to release the recording of the incident is not a good look. Hopefully they wrap up the investigation quickly and we can find out some specific details of what went down.

Waiting on Broome to decide when everyone gets to see them. I'm sure that will be edited.

It should actually always be standard practice to complete the investigation before releasing anything. Body camera video does not show if there was a 911 call, or what details the officers had. It may not even show what the officers saw before engaging a person. If you release just a video then you are subject to everyone making up their own theories about the incident without having further context of the situation. This happens all the time when the media plays cell phone video of incidents without context. These videos rarely ever record the whole event. Not releasing a video right away is not automatically a cover up. It should be standard procedure.

Look at how poorly this aged. You were ready to condemn these cops before they even had their day in court.
