Yep.
I just laughed at the whole thing. Gotta love this place.

We had it spray painted on the tarp at our fraternity Halloween party and everyone was calling it. Great times

Patiently waiting for him in the Coates Hall bathroom

Does anyone else remember the F*^k Tim Tebow chants after he did the phone gesture to the student section. The tv commentators where trying to talk over it to drown it out but really couldn't.

It started a trend that went on for years and still likely will happen moving forward
Most crushing defeat I ever experienced in Tiger Stadium was first game after NCG loss to AL vs AL in 2012
While doing a tour of the facility on the Friday before the game, we ran into Mett on the practice field, and he told us the AL fans had gotten his number and he had to get rid of his phone
In case anyone can't remember, that was the game we had the ball with a minute and a half left in FG range up 17-14 and with our QB 7 for 7 on 3rd down conversions using two NFL receivers, Miles runs the ball into the line 3 times, resulting in a missed FG. AL goes down the field and scores game winning TD with no timeouts
Tiger Stadium could be a stop on a haunted house tour with the death of talent that Miles squandered at LSU

What happened was he thought he had us when he did the phone celebration to us in the student section. Little did he know, he was about to be Hester’d.
I was at the game. That's also the game where #1 USC lost to Stanford while we (#2 at the time) were still in the third quarter against FL. Loudest I've ever heard Tiger Stadium was when the score rolled around and showed USC down and 0:00 on their clock.

I was a senior in high school and that was our Homecoming night and of course I had to miss it. I was so pissed.

Laughing our asses off as his phone number hit this board and a few talented posters took off with it. There was a lot of back-and-forth chatter about doing something funny/loud at the Gator hotel and people making the case for and against back and forth. And when it started being reported by the national media that everyone had his number everyone here just laughed and started slapping each other on the back. And then that epic game and the tears and Urban being shell-shocked-and the craziness of that entire year. LSU got SO much media coverage in 2007-just a ridiculous amount in the pre-Saban-Bama era and everything was about us. Similar to 2019 but more from a "cardiac Cats" "Crazy Les" standpoint. We had crushed VA Tech in a perfect game and then beat UF. And then Kentucky got us. And then the Auburn miracle. Then the Arkansas defeat and the season looked over. It just went on and on until we took home the hardware against Ohio State. Peak Les Miles.

It's funny that he works at Alabama now, because they hated him.
Remember when that dumb bitch of a waiter claimed Mett stiffed her on a tip? She was an Alabama fan and posted a picture of the receipt on social media and said "what is this LSU FANS?!"
Supposedly Mett just wrote "frick you" on the tip line. Dumb cooze probably said something about a game.
Then an Alabama fan suckered punched him in a bar when he was with the Titans

Just watched that video. Someone in the comments linked to the part where Stanford beat SC. Weird that Richard Sherman of all people is in the highlight they show, catching a 4th down pass for Stanford to keep their drive alive. I knew he'd played WR for them, just weird to see/ hear his name called.

Soph year at LSU. One of the most fun nights ever in Tiger Stadium. It was a hot steamy night for October. So much fun. Huge caravan of people swarmed the Gattis postgame. Good times.

I was a sophomore that year and we gave him absolute hell after the phone call gesture towards the student section.
I still remember going into work the next day and my boss telling me that "frick you Tebow" chants were clear as day on the TV broadcast.
We won. Then Timmy cried lol

i guess i remember trying to call it and leave a message but i think it had been disconnected by the time i got around to it.
And he scored and did the phone dial thing to the student section, but we won the game and the national title.

I was a lurker in 2007, I remember the incident and reading about some of the stuff going on.
Tebow was actually a pretty good sport about it, giving the student sections the hand to the ear phone call signal at one point.

I don't know why but I found that scene to be quite enjoyable at the time

I’m a hardcore LSU fan but that was a disgusting prank. Tebow has a helluva lot more integrity and class than some of the posters in here with middle school level maturity. The dude would kick your arse easily if he was wired that way. That being said, Geaux Tigers!

Was clearing out old contacts a couple of weeks ago and "Tebow" was still in there.

meh, "public figure," fair game, I think it's been revealed that Tebow is a different person than his public persona anyway, wasn't a big deal
