Enjoyed that game a lot. The Oklahoma fans who I met were truly football fans. Competitive but very respectful. Unlike our fan base who attacked them adnauseam. It was really nice to have a true football conversation with opposing team. They should not have even been in that game because the lost to Kansas St the week before 35-7. Remember us chanting “LSU… USC, Oklahoma’s number 3.” After the Kansas St score was shown. In fact if you watch the game replay you can hear it loud and clear.

Parent's surprised me and my brother day of the game that we were going. I was nine, brother was 12. Sat on Oklahoma's side and gave their fans hell all night. Remember it like it was yesterday. People were in tears thinking they'd never see LSU win it all. What a night

Yes. That was the year that USC tried to claim a split National Championship. As I have constantly said… LSU won the Championship and USC won a title. Just one title. The crooked media title. Enemy of the people title! Have disliked Pete Carol ever since.

What would the score have been with the 2023 defense?

They've been going in and out of style
But they're guaranteed to raise a smile
So may I introduce to you
The act you've known for all these years

Wow, can’t wait for rivalry week vs the team we’ve only played against 3 times ever!

That last hit from Lionel Turner .. freaking awesome. I’m a girl and should not remember these things.

Also we were way up in the nosebleed section — didn't care — but it was hot as hell in there.

The speed of both teams on kick offs and punts was faster than I had ever seen at a college game in my lifetime.

As long as it isn’t Arkansas. Boring.

I was there as a 12 year old with my dad!
We sat in the nosebleeds in the OU section. Easily one of the best days ever and a memory that I’ll never ever forget as long as I live!

I was there. The Oklahoma fans certainly fit the bill for being extremely arrogant to the point of telling LSU fans before the game “maybe next year, but at least y’all made it to the championship”. I work with a few OK fans and that win and especially the massacre of 2019 has really humbled them pretty darn good when it comes to talking football.

My ears rang for at least three days after that game. The crowd noise was piercing.
