I remember it like it was yesterday. I was on an oil platform with 5 Ohio State fans. They were talking mad shite when they went up 14. It was glorious watching Matt Flynn and the boys slowly eat their souls.
As I recall, sitting two rows from the field, Ohio State went up 10 and were trying a field goal. We ended up blocking that try and went on to score 31 straight points.

Always wondered what would have happened had they made that field goal. They had all the momentum going their way until the blocked field goal. Then everything flipped.

One of the most satisfying victories.

Great pic but 2 of those would honestly be the most punchable faces if they were not wearing P&G imo

I was there! Bought tickets from a guy at the W Hotel on Saturday night for $675.00 each.

First row in the terrace in the curve. Got in real early and went to my great seat. Was sitting there about 5 minutes when an Ohio State couple 2-rows behind me ask me to take their picture. That is when i realized that they were on row-4 and row 1 did not exist. Holy chit, I went looking for an usher. New score boards installed in the 4 corners were slightly to tall to see over if you were sitting on the 1st row, but the Dome was still selling those seats.
13 X 4=78 people got screwed by the Dome!
After 90 minutes and the game started we got seats {folding metal chairs} in the wheelchair section on the ramp behind the LSU bench at the goal line. So we could only see the game when it was on our end of the field. Had to watch the overhead monitor most of the time. When Chevis intercepted the pass and ran behind the players on the bench I looked up at the monitor and thought he was running the wrong way!
The great thing at the end was we got to HIGH-5 a lot of the LSU players as they headed to the locker room.
The worst thing was, I was parked across the street from WDSU TV station. That was a lonely walk at 12:30 in the morning by myself!

I was there. $1100 for a ticket on the 6th row of the LSU endzone. Worth every damn penny.

Very fortunate to be there too. Got a ticket from a friend on the alumni board.
Great time & great memories. Was a little worried when we went down 10-0 but fun times when we smoked them after that!

Leslie Ann Miles had a horseshoe up his arse back in those days. Every chance he took paid off back then…whether he realized he was actually taking a chance or not.

I was so happy after that game. Got to go to the one Saban win vs Oklahoma, best experience of my life with some fellow Tiger friends.

What a great night. I wasn’t able to get students tickets but was partying all day with my buddy and his family on bourbon. When they left to to the dome my buddies dad told me to hop in the cab, I was so confused. We get to the dome and he handed me 600 bucks and said go find a ticket. I was so pumped, bought a ticket from an lsu guy and said next to him. He bought my beers all night. It was amazing.

My buddies dad passed away last month and I loved telling that story to everyone after the funeral. A lot of them forgot that story so it was great to be able to tell a story of what kind of man he was and what he did for others.
