I was there! KOR and HATT put on one hell of a party, too!!! 2003 is my favorite season. I went to almost all of the games. Couldn't swing Arizona and one other road game. Went to the SECCG and BCSNCG. Ahh, the glory days!!!

It took me six months to get used to the idea my LSU Tigers were National Champions. Almost teared up that night.

I watched this game on a tape recording in London 12 hours after the game, avoiding the internet/news all day.

When Justin Vincent ripped the long run on the first play of the game, such a release of emotion.

Walked out of the Super Dome that night in a fog of ecstasy. When Lionel Turner swallowed Jason White on a delayed blitz, the Tigers vaulted into history. That was the absolute best time to be a Tiger fan.

My son and I were there, sat next to an old SoCal dude who thought USC would be in the game and came anyway. Had his colors on and was neutral in the beginning but began cheering for the Tigers after the 1st qtr. Loudest continuous roar in a game I ever witnessed.

Mauck sucked that game... Our defense probably played one of the best games I've ever seen a defense play... Insane how they man handled OU

Growing up a Tigers and Saints fan, being in the Superdome that night and in the stadium for SB 44, as the clock wound down on both games..... surreal.

Man, 2003. Witnessed the UGA game in TS. Birth of my first child. Saw my tigers win the title. I teared up on the last 2 mentioned.

I was there with my FIL (who was a student at LSU in 1958). He was crying at the end.
