Boise State beat Hawaii that night. Syracuse beat Notre Dame earlier in the day.

Damn, I am officially getting old. 12-yrs ago?

I ran 21 miles that week just to offset the caloric intake of beer and food. If honest, I thought that was going to be a once in a lifetime experience, and I enjoyed it as such.

I still ended up gaining 8 lbs -- not muscle, I promise you.

Awesome time!

I bought a Nike Dri-Fit Boise State polo later to show my appreciation.

Watched some OU students and fans peak way too soon.

We were tailgating on Perdido street and some UO fans were butt fricking a life size tiger doll and we sat there kind of smirking, thinking "Damn, not much you can say to that." I still smile every time I think about those hicks walking out of the stadium after losing the game.

I, for one, will always be grateful to Nick for what he did for this program.

I remember that event even more fondly because it probably saved my life.

Was feeling very anxious because I just missed the 1958 championship season so this was going to be my first. I was very nervous and excited, and it probably triggered a heart event that gave me a warning that something was wrong. A couple of days later I was at a heart clinic demanding some tests, and a few days later underwent angioplasty.

So, without the excitement of my Tigers in a championship game I might have just had a heart attack later.

Forever LSU!

I decided to get engaged that night only if we won it.

I watched the game back home at a friend's house with a few friends that I grew up with.

I called FIL at half time, who played football at A&M after Bear left to go to BAMA, he was 0-4 against LSU but he gave me approval.

No one at the event knew I had the ring in my pocket.

After the clock read 0:00, I got on my knee and asked her to marry me and get a ring just like the LSU football team.

It was

and

My friends were like , , , , ,and

i watched this game at the neighbor who lived behind me's house.

also watched the 2007 game there.

then he moved.

so i went to his new house to watch the 2011 game

clearly this is his fault.

That night? I don't remember it was 12 years ago.

It's only the important things us baws remember.
LSU won first title in 48 years and I got engaged and I'm still married.

Noooo, that was Ohio State and 2007.

2003 did not need many help like 2007 did.
