Implied that LSU fans think less of Jayden Daniels

This is way overblown. Stop taking what the 3% of idiot fans say and applying it to our whole fanbase

He doesnt need to take that much of a leap to have a fantastic season.

I agree. If he plays up to his potential and doesn’t have a game with less than 100 yds passing, he can have an outstanding season. But two games like that this year will be magnified since he’s in the Heisman spotlight.

That’s great. Throwing for 80 yards and getting the win isn’t going to win you a Heisman, which is what we are talking about right?

Talking about him being a Heisman candidate, but that is a good point.

We saw his passing game, they only watch highlights.

I didn't say Daniels wasn't good. I said he didn't SINGLE HANDEDLY beat Bama, like you said.

I recall a great play by Emery. Big plays by Taylor. And huge stops from our defense.

It had to be perfect throw, for the win.

Perkins pressure on Young and Converse’s int holding Bama to 7 points in the 1st half while our offense couldn’t do anything is what gave us a chance to win. JD played a good second half and the running game started getting chunk plays. Those were the 3 main elements to the win, one person didn’t win that game.

I thought we were talking about the LSU fan base not like JD.

with 800-1000 yds on ground

Because he's not a physical Tim Tebow type I hope he pass for more yards ( esp. deep ball completions)and less ground yards so we can limit his possibility of injury.

And that he continue to slide away from contact as much as possible when confronted with forward contact.

As all fans remember Ala's QB Young was injured and still recovering when LSU played them. We don't want Daniels to be lame for showdown with Bama but at full speed as that game may determine West championship.

Good thing it was less that 5 yards.

Very true. Louisiana people have seen more of him. They saw the weaknesses. If his weaknesses are improved on there’s no reason why he shouldn’t be in the Heisman race.

Idk about that. I think the fanbase has a lot of love for JD but also knows he needs to let it go a little more this year. But the talk seems pretty optimistic.

I agree with that. Also everyone needs to realize that JD has a lot more support around him this year in almost every facet. This is the offensive staff’s 2nd yr in, the entire OL returned, deeper at RB, way deeper at TE, S&C staff has jacked these boys up, and even the Analysts have had a full yr to prepare for the season. Everything JD needs to be successful has improved this year over last year…. This is why I expect JD to be better this year

And we know Louisiana people are some of smartest in the country, and the most adept at recognizing talent.

Yes indeed, some Louisiana people were responsible for putting together the best college football team of all time.

How about A&M and Arkansas. Were those flukey.

I mean sure, those were rough games. But the fact that you started off with “how did he play vs Georgia?” makes me wonder if you actually watched any of them.

Funny, I recall the D playing really well in the game. As well as Josh Williams, John Emery, and Mason Taylor. Not taking anything away from JD's performance, but it wasn't him alone.

He played great against Georgia.

He had over 200 yards in less than half the game when he was injured and couldn’t run.

His one INT that game hit the WR in both hands and he could t make the catch.

If you are using the Georgia game as an example of why he wasn’t good, that’s the wrong game to choose.
