Just to kind of put it in perspective, 247 didn't even assign Bailey a ranking last year. Rashad King is the 79th ranked portal player this year. King is a pretty large upgrade over Dji.

What are they supposed to do…not talk about it? It helps with recruiting to be able to say that LSU is a good transfer destination.

The point guard is legit - great get and from what I hear we paid a steep price. Only concern with him reading the scouting report is he is not very good defensively - and a main reason is he's slight and not physical enough to effectively deal with the ball screen stuff almost every team runs.
The State guy has size and maybe some toughness, which we really need badly. He's not going to fill up the stat sheet but he will fill a desperate need we have for physicality (see above).
The other guy is a D2 guy - his numbers were good there but have no idea how that translates to this level.

Always have to complain about something. Enjoy the fact that they are doing well right now in the portal. Will it stick? No, but they are making strides. What will you find to complain about next?

Just win baby! The complaining has complete justification at this point. When the complaining occurs when we are good, then it becomes less justifiable.

Complaining about the coach, the record, the losses, etc is justified. Complaining about the current ranking of the transfer portal class seems like complaining just to have something to complain about.
