Lmfao, there’s a reason I stopped engaging with you, you’re dishonest. Acting as if the thread doesn’t exist and everyone can’t see who’s instigated this stuff or the several other posters who’ve argued with him. You’re not only a fraud you’re also pathetic

lets assume all that is true, I am terrible/pathetic/fraud/dihonest for whatever reason etc. that is never the topic of the thread. you don't need to do this to people in every thread. please don't do this in every thread. try to focus on sports related chat

It is true I just illustrated it. You follow me around like a lost puppy projecting and making hypocritical statements. You’re obsessed, it’s sad.

I highly doubt that number is accurate. Last season Yaxel Lendoeborg claimed he turned down 9million dollar offers to take 2mil and go to Michigan. This happens a lot with NIL. Since schools aren’t required to disclose NIL to the public and only give total percentages to the NCAA, players and programs can claim any number they want. Another example was Cam Boozer at Duke claiming he signed for 1.5mil while guys like DJ Thomas were reportedly signed for 2mil at LSU. Duke claimed they paid the same total amount for their roster as we did for ours.

Will Wade just said in an interview on Inside College Basketball that he has all but one spot filled on the roster. They have to wait to announce because there are waivers and contracts in play that need to be finished up before announcing.

To be clear he said they have 7-8 guys, he is talking about only playing up to 9 guys this season and the rest are roster fillers basically.

So he is basically saying he feels like they have 8 rotation guys locked up right now with 1 more spot to go potentially there

But still needs to find the roster fillers for spots 10-15

While this may be true, I'd hardly hand wave away waivers and contracts, especially given how stingy the NCAA has been towards LSU in this regard.

I don't think CWW would do multiple interviews saying we have the majority of the roster signed if he wasn't pretty damn confident that they have guys that will be eligible next season.

TPK is simply wish-casting failure. I know some people say there are no “anti-Wade” posters here, but that is untrue. I’m about to watch the interview myself from this morning and will probably like what I hear.

It's not that such posters are so much "anti-Wade" as they are "pro-themselves" in being "right" contrary to the consensus opinion of the crowd.

In this instance the consensus of the crowd wanted Wade. Some I guess because they liked Wade individually. But most because they liked Wade's result compared to the historically awful results his successor produced for a miserable 4 years.

Can't it be both?

I've never undestood this mentality. We are supposedly all LSU fans and want the best for LSU and everyone is wrong now and then. shite, I'll be wrong every damn time if that means we are winning. That's the most important thing.

I really enjoyed the interview. If CWW says he has “7-8 players” on the roster, and he’s hunting down one more, that’s good enough for me.

Year one is risky anyway. Put the chips all in for 8 top players, take flyers on 9-10 and then get practice / depth guys for the rest of the roster.

It’s worth the risk.

I honestly think it's a combination of a few things.

Some "pro-themselves" to be "right" - that fits certain TD posters history. There are others that simply despise Wade.

The rest of them are the worst of the bunch - dudes that hate LSU MBB, yet feel the need to chime in and troll. Those are the posters that very likely never stepped foot in an LSU classroom, yet proclaim to be diehard LSU fans, and still go out of their way to hate some LSU sports.

From what Wade told boosters they have 9 committed from Euro League which is why they have to wait for all of the paper work to get filed before announcing it. May be the last year they can use these type of players. Will be the Illinois of the South this year. If he can still get Graves then they will be a solid 8-9 man rotation. Will have to adjust to more conventional recruiting/portal for next year but this year he's going all in on European players.

Sup Larry. I'm still getting to the interview, but 8 deep is usually the norm. Like you said, 9-10 on some potential and the rest is bench players. It used to be 13, but it's 15 now. 15 guys ain't playing.

Well that's a good update, at least. Happy we'll actually have a team
